Toastmasters Evaluation Contest - SECOND PLACE
Toastmaster Evaluation Contest is almost like an extempore with very limited time to prepare. However, if you have a structure of your speech in mind it makes it easier to formulate the content in an effective manner.
While listening to the test speaker, note down the best points, kinda good points and where are the room for improvements. You need not mention all. Pick two positive and one negative and do not forget to provide feedback on how to improve the negative. Giving a recommendation is extremely vital and don't forget to summarize all your points in the end.

Thanks for sharing, Ishrain! I love your suggestions for improvement and how expressive you are in showing and not just telling the recommendations. This gives me ideas of what to look for when evaluating other's speeches. Thanks!
She was animated, vociferous & radiated positivity. However, if I was the speaker looking for a straight forward feedback where I could pat myself for my strengths but searching for avenues to better the next time, I would be slightly puzzled by the evaluation in as much as it was like an Indian " kichadi "! All mixed together & difficult to assimilate!!
Tjoo she's good. If she got 2nd place I'm so curious as to how amazing the first place evaluator was

What would suggest for a person who is taking part in an evaluation contest for the first time
Impressive! Perhaps she should speak more calmly and then add drama just in a few points. The intermingling of positive aspects and points for improvement had me confused. But overall it was a good evaluation.

I need more evaluation
In my perspective...it seems a bit artificial..the way the evaluation was given....i would appreciate it if it was more smooth, gentle, natural and easy...

''Artificial"?? She delivered the speech with utmost confidence and voice modulation, being loud and hyped up adds up to your marks. If she'd been quite and gentle with her speech, no would've been interested. I think she did with perfect voice modulation, try listening to other evaluation speeches and check what u get!
Not natural.... Don’t know whether common ppl will ever connect with her style...? (Btw, effective use of Filler-Words is very important to make speeches more engaging.... Of course, Toastmasters need to focus on that area. Otherwise you would become robotic-speakers)
