How the Toastmaster Program increases self-awareness and positive mentoring:
Teams work effectively through working together and understanding the goals they are going to develop. If you can listen effectively and then provide clear thought through discussion, do you think that would help to produce effective teams?
One of the ways Toastmasters develop this is through a program called evaluation. It develops 3 key skills. Listening, thinking and then speaking. Perhaps you might agree with me that those 3 skills, in that order, are much more effective than speaking first, listening to yourself and then thinking “Oh that was not a very smart thing to say.”

This is an excellent evaluation, doesnt look artificial like usual toastmasters speech :)

Totally agree. Sometimes typical TM speeches feels unnatural.
Good one. Recommendations were clear and on point. Last line for encouraging to speak again was awesome.

The writing patterns on this are wonderful, too.
"A word wizard in our midst". Good one. Maybe I'll steal, I mean, borrow that line. :) Growth points were done in a very encouraging and fun way. The "this was very good but could be really great!" technique. Presented with sincerity.
Notes were apparently placed on lectern by Sgt At Arms...less obvious
Great evaluation - noteworthy was the structure. I think it would have been even better if the evaluator had spoken to the audience rather than the speaker; and referred to the speaker in the first person; in this way the recommendations / challenges would have been offered as learnings for all to consider, not just the speaker she was evaluating. On the whole though - awesome job, articulate yet succinct; thumbs up Verity!

Poor & selfish presentation, bcos she seems to be addressing only Native English ppl in the audience. That's why she speaks very fast. SLOW-DOWN & SHOW YOUR EMPATHY WITH ALL THE PEOPLE... DEFINITELY, YOU WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE UNDERSTOOD BY ALL.
