And I think its fantastic! If its like a private conversation and you were prepared to just talk about stuff, its good if your friend really talks about all the uncomfortable topics, because they need the most discussion. I dont think toast would be someone to push you to answer a question you try to avoid infront of more people, but if he would think its important to push you to answer that he would do that in private

@@renato0013 As someone who puts themselves down all the time: Yes. Yes it is. I kinda can hear/see it myself tho. It's just like if there was this second me who can see that problem and is aware it is there, but cannot help it. Also my ex and my friends used to get really irritated with my shit so yeah. Some got very cold towards me because I just have been too irritating. Putting everyone's mood down, ya know? I still do put myself down, but to some degree less. So I'm happy that I'm making a progress. I recommend seeing a specialist that You could talk with abt this problem. It can lead to a lot of different problems or be a part of a bigger one, like depression, anxiety, etc. I'm no psychologist but that's how it looks in my case. My low self-esteem and putting myself down unconsciously is a part why I'm depressed. My depression is built of a lot of insecurities and self-doubt. It might be different in Your case. As I said: a specialist is the best option. Take care my friend. Always be yourself and remember: You're valid.

Hope I'm not wallowing in my own pity, but I feel I'm the same way. I talk myself down a LOOOOOT and also get really hung up on really small things, especially if I didn't do them right. Video games, decisions, but only when it's me. I have to often mute my mic in the vc because I flame myself so incredibly hard that my friends have been telling me to stop, but I never do. Edit: It's just being permanently tilted, but in a disappointed manner, not in an angry manner.

They’re both opposites to each other and after listening to both I think I’m in the middle of both their perspectives, like being too positive and being too understanding is bad and so is being rude to people who are rude to you. I Respect Toast even more now. He’s honest with his friends and he’s honest about himself. He knows he likes attention and he admits it; to some that can come out as selfish but he really isn’t. I’d say Toast is just hungry for success. I also respect the way he sees things about people allowing themselves be used as doormats. It’s frustrating to see that specially when it’s a friend or family. As for Sykunno he’s very humble but his lack of confidence makes him an easy push over target. He needs someone like Toast to help him build his confidence and find his inner “manly” self. I enjoy both streamers and will continue to watch them grow.

Sykkunno used to be super confident back in his old KZread days. I think he said it on a stream but while he was taking a break from KZread, he tried talking to girls and socializing but the girls that he talked to kind of broke his confidence and him down by making fun of him and trolling him. An example is when Sykkunno gave a girl his number and she put wrote it on a bathroom stall and he got a ton of threats from different dudes.

I understand where sykkuno is coming from. From my experience growing up, guys would bluntly tell me im ugly. Then friends of those guys would yell Wow you're so pretty?!?! N everyone would laugh cause they knew it was a joke. I remember a random guy came up to me and started talking to me and i had my wall up (cause obvi i thought everyone had bad intentions to use me as a joke) and tried my best to avoid him but not try to be mean about it either. Well eventually i started opening up, he would publically do kind things for me at school and kept asking me out, and i thought he was different. After almost 6 months of being together he walked up to me with some other juniors and he was crying (i was a freshman, he was a junior) and his friends looked at me n told him to tell me or they were going to. Then they told me they dared him to ask me out cause when i had walked by them he called me a ugly ass dike so they thought itd be funny to dare him but that he felt too bad to break up with me. N he started begging me to forgive him and to still be his friend and that i really am sweet n how i changed how he sees things etc and i just remember smiling trying not to cry telling them that it was a good joke and that i should've known cause not a lotta people like me-so yea its funny.... n i walked away. Ever since then ive changed a lot physically and people pressure compliments onto me and think im conceited or a bitch when i tell them it makes me uncomfortable. "you think im not good enough to compliment you??" "You know you're pretty, why do you keep acting like you're not" etc. Even when people openly flirt with me and others laugh cause they're being over the top my anxiety spikes cause i immediately think theres hidden intentions. A lotta people get annoyed with me after awhile cause they think im being fake nice or fake awkward and it pisses people off i have a hard time accepting compliments and not letting my walls down fast

I feel like needing validation from others is different from wanting attention tho. He wants to be approved by others to maybe approve of himself. But attention is really something everyone needs and likes to have. Getting attentions means that people care about you, which is why a lot of people who lack getting attention would go to lengths to get it. But yeah, I also appreciate toast’s honesty about himself instead of trying to seem perfect.

They're like the yin yang of each other. It feels like watching two different absolute views on the same topic.

So, basically, Toast already knows he's smart and funny etc and that makes him feel good, but he wants people to see him for who he really is and make more meaningful comments, like, "I noticed you've been working on so and so project and it came out great. You've really improved and I can tell you've been working hard." Comments like these tend to be more impactful than "You're funny" or "You're smart." I'm sure this is what he's seeking when he says he loves and wants attention. The everyday, usual comments are nice but they tend to lose meaning.

I can honestly feel Toast's frustration when sykkuno kept trying to dodge the questions. It feels like sykkuno is afraid to let his guard down and show the real him which is understandable to a point. His confidence definitely needs work but toast definitely needs some too. It's great to listen to a bro talk about real stuff and not about games all the time.

I've been saying it for a while, Toast is the best person in OfflineTV. He's hard on himself but everything he does is taking care of the people around him, like being there for Poki during the Fed thing, and trying to get Sykkuno to be more confident.

I just want to add onto this that this is something that people should do. My friend and his girlfriend ended their relationship. They were a nice looking couple who seemed perfect for eachother ... but they split up because they never talked about their problems and tried to talk about it with each other. They kept everything bottled up until that very moment when they were splitting up but it was too late. Its better to confront the problem than have it fester and blow up later on.
