Here's Mark Goodson's second and final day filling in for Alex Trebek as host of To Tell the Truth. Today, a panel of Orson Bean, Gloria Loring, David Niven, Jr., and Cindy Adams are tasked to identify a young woman of Wall Street and a Vietnam veteran who dealt with difficulties returning to the States after the war ended.

Goodson was more than good, he was excellent. It’s rare he hosts his own game shows.
Alex said in his book that Mr. Goodson still paid him for the whole week of shows after he filled in. A class act.

According to the book Alex came running up to tell Mark Jean was in labor about 15 minutes before they were to start taping, Mark didn't even hesitate and basically said "Go! We'll figure something out."

@@drummingdanny84 Jonathan probably would have sacked Trebek and brought in Garry Moore barely alive in a wheelchair since he loves his has-beens

This wasn't the first time Mark Goodson as a sub host of To Tell the Truth. In 1967, Mark subbed for Bud Collyer.
How do you think Mark Goodson did as a game show host? He should've hosted in the 1st place.
