Yesssss! I feel like The Architect is a much more accessible album, but this is peak Eidola (even if Degeneraterra is my personal favorite). I'm really hoping now that they've drawn people in with The Architect, the next album will return to the kind of progginess we get in Degeneraterra and TSTL, especially since it's supposed to be a much darker and heavier album. I do think that the appeal of Eidola's earlier albums comes with delving into and dissecting the concepts and themes - and exploring those themes in turn makes The Architect all the more exciting for how it subverts a lot of the concepts in To Speak, To Listen. Instead of connecting to the spirituality of humanity, the protagonist is choosing the be the architect of their own existence and lean into their own power of redemption and forgiveness rather than that of the divine (or at least, that's my interpretation of it)

Actually makes me angry that Tanscendentium pt 1 is the least listened to song on this album wtf the last minute and a half is imo the best part of the album.

One of my favorite albums, its so good. I wish the mix was clearer though, they really honed that in with the Architect in my opinion
