We had to change the key at sound check to accommodate him. Natalie and the band did a great job. since the movie, I've always loved this song. A treat to see and hear two of my fave singers do it so beautifully (and earnestly!).

Honestly, I think this is awful. Did they even rehearse this one time together? They sound so disconnected in the To Sir With Love performance. I love Natalie, she's great. But this performance sounds terrible. When they are singing together, they are singing at two different paces, probably because of Stipe's vocal style of dragging syllables, there's no way for Natalie to sing in tune with him.

Have you seen Michael and Natalie sing John Prine's "Hello in There" ? a singular performance of a classic.

Often when I watch videos of 10KM it makes me feel sad and old, but this video exudes so much energy that it makes me feel youthful again.

Amazing rendition. First time I ever heard this version or even knew it existed. Much respect!

I love the way Natalie moves with the music! Beautiful woman, beautiful voice!

This must be one of the most joyous happy duets ever. Just wish there were more like them , makes me shiver

My top male vocalist and top female vocalist and I have loved them for well over 30 years now and just saw Natalie a few weeks ago in Glasgow and she is still as beautiful in voice and looks and dances like an angel. Love them both so so much! It just doesnt get better then these two together.

My favorite male/female live non studio duet cover is when David Bowie & Annie Lennox sung Under Pressure at the Freddie Mercury tribute concert but I have to say Michael and Natalie touched me just as much. Bravo to them

Real singers can sing anything. I am always blown away by both of these performers no matter what they sing. Awesome!

Often immersing herself deeply in humanitarian/philanthropic endeavours & devoting herself to a specific project while taking a hiatus from music. She never succumbed to others wanting to change her or run her career. Magical presence ❤️ Plus, the voice of an angel.

Her music is so great, I listen to her whenever possible. Beautiful voice and so gorgeous.

There arent many singers that could get away with singing this song but she has and Michael Stipe have a great voice for these songs.

I know, I actually burst into tears when I first saw this one!!! These two absolute powerhouses singing this was almost too much for my fragile heart to take!

Two people who have given us so much joy and emotion over the years. . .so good to see them having such joy in their performance.

There last concert tour during the summer of 93 when they played in Charlotte N.C. Michael Stipe was there surprise guest and he came out and did a few songs with them. A memorable show indeed.

I hooked up my boombox with RCA cables to the input jacks on the TV. I also cheated that way to make audio cassettes of music videos to carry with me when I would go to the gym.

Natalie's voice is absolute magic!

Lulu's original was a stone classic. When I first came across this version, it seemed like an unlikely pairing, but I have to say that Michael and Natalie knocked this one out of the park. Wonderful.

This is a very nice version. But Lulu’s original is a soaring triumph of pop music. This is nicely done, but doesn’t send shivers down my spine!

Sounds a bit crazy but the tv show Glee has a good version as well.

Thank you Michael Bergeron. Absolutely magical. One of my most favorite performers (Natalie) sings one of my most favorite songs with such a great duet singer. This is heaven on earth for me.

My breakup with my first wife was pretty amicable. There were only two things we had issues over. We both wanted the CDs, "In My Tribe" and Anne Lennox, "Medusa". I gave up Anne for Natalie.

This is my awesomeness. Natalie dancing is icing on the cake. She is glorious.

Two of my favorite people that are not only so very talented but so deep and have such great hearts.

Natalie Merchant's voice is ALWAYS memorizing...ever since I hear her YEARS AGO. My biggest fantasy collaboration between female vocalists is Natalie Merchant and Alison Moyet.....

Seeing this, the chemistry between Michael & Natalie, it's easy to imagine about a decade before this they were extremely close friends whose feelings toward each other grew to a lovely romance & period of dating. They obviously adore each other (only saying they're close, it wasn't romantic at this point), share a mutual respect & enjoy spending time together. ❤️ Two extremely talented artists, both with very unique & amazing voices that compliment each other so wonderfully. One of my favourite covers ever! 👏🏻✨❤️
