Apology accepted as I stated in the community post. I do not get bothered or offended by negative comments or opinions. As a content creator I learned the art of ignoring when something does not go my way. I block a user if a comment is too offensive or negativity is being spread constantly by the same user. What happened here was serious false accusations not only about fake flux, but other things that I won't go over now since you acknowledged what you did was wrong. Nobody likes false accusation and I had to take action to stop it. I admit I was a little rough on the edges and went off on louis and accused him of ignoring what was happening especially after mailing a syringe of flux over to him and not hearing back for 2 weeks. I did not realize he went over the flux in a repair stream and confirmed it's authenticity and cleared the confusion. I'll put everything behind like it never happened and start a new page moving forward.

Shit happens. You're always going to be a valuable member of the community to me. I tried the flux out on stream when I came back to NYC, to see that it is this exact same thing as what I am selling which I get direct from inventec as well, so everyone can see that it's the same flux that performs as well. just a different syringe. As I said on stream, it doesn't make sense for anybody who has a repair shop to do this because the amount of money you make selling repair services is far above the amount of additional money you would make selling fake flux. It's not worth risking one's reputation over. Best of luck with everything into the future

Yes, Alex has mentioned in several of his videos that the tubes he gets from Amtech are meant to be used with other equipment and thus don't have plungers on them, so he transfers the flux to generic syringes that have plungers for easier manual use. I've got an Amtech tube, and I had to take a plunger from another syringe in order to be able to use it.

In life, making mistakes is part and parcel of being alive and being human. Acknowledging our shortcomings and learning from those mistakes is what matters. In your content you candidly show when things go wrong and right. Making such a public apology you have continued in the same vein, all power to you, keep up the good work and keep the content coming.

Well done for apologising. Thankfully people can usally move on from such misunderstandings. Actually while I'm sure that Alex will be justifiably annoyed (it does not take much to annoy him!) the damage is perhaps not too bad, as regular vievers of Alex' s channel know that he has explained many times about them re-syringing the flux as Amtech do not supply needles. So most of the people who need to know that his flux is 'cosher' already know.

I just think to myself, stay humble. Remember, your all helping the same community. Your clearly a big part if the repair community that does have influence. Be careful on how you use your influence. Also, part of being humble imo, is simply watching your video wording. An example would be the tronixfix vid. Saying he couldn’t fix it, can I? Seems slightly disrespectful. Instead stay positive. Say “ can I help figure it out”. I don’t say any of this to attack. I genuinely wish you the best, and I’ll personally still support you and the channel.

Everyone makes mistakes buddy..... Acknowledging the fact that something was incorrect shows the kind of genuine and honest bloke you are. Making a public apology isn't easy and not many do... again it's a testament to the kind of person you really are. Put it down to experience and move on...life is too short buddy 👍

We have all fell into that trap, at least you owned the error, now you can move on and continue with the great content we always see from you. You have gave me an interest in electronic repairs, not sure I could as I'm thick as two short planks but anyway, oh and big up the Black Country accent, I hail from West Brom... Keep up the good work 👍

Good on you for owning your mistakes. You did the right thing owning it and apologizing. Put it behind you and move onward and upward. I've made plenty of mistakes in my life and I would hate anyone to pull out a microscope on my life. You're a good dude, don't let this stop the content you are creating. Cheers.

i follow most of these popular repair channels....and most of them are cranky and frustrated dudes, almost all of the time during streams (swearing, cussing and general shit talking about the world, business, politics, customers etc). i dont know whether its the over inhalation of solder and flux fumes that cause this... but jeees, all of you need to get your shit together. TheCod3r, i enjoy your streams more than the rest because you seem to have your head in a good place... and i learn alot from the repairs you do, without having to deal with verbal diarrhea all the time (like the other guys). you do you, and keep going at it 👍

Don't worry too much about it pal , it takes a man to admit and apologise about things.

It takes a big man to admit when he's fucked up. Owning up to it, apologizing, and assuring people that it won't happen again is all you can do. You fix things that are broken and you've done what you can to make things right.

You’re only human we all make mistakes and holding your hands up and apologising publicly takes brass balls. If anyone has threatened legal action against you over something so petty then they are clearly shallow. They should accept your humble apology and maybe track down the real trolls. Keep up the good work.
