KZread is the closest thing to a time machine in my opinion! This just came to me very randomly on my recommendation. After watching this clip i realised life really does pass bye so so quickly, I remember watching Dick turpin and robins nest as a ten year old, Those familiar faces that we remember on our tv so well in our childhood are still around, and to see them now is to take us for a split second that time we cherished as a child! What a wonderful and amazing life Richard o Sullivan had!

What Happened To Richard O' Sullivan 1231pm 14.7.22 hmmmmmmmmm...(pensive mode) me and my girl was decidedly dodgy if you had a certain frame of mind but i am pretty dumb and never saw anything overtly dodgy about that sit-com. i did forget he had starred in dick turpin - which isn't too bad. can be seen, on occasion, on itv4 if you care to catch that show. i'm here as thumb nail kept parading on the you tube web site demanding i see what happened to richard o'sullivan. can't say i recall his film with boris karloff - now that's got to be a boon(?) robin's nest was more preferable to view than man about the house, though. richard o'sullivan as a bit of a daddy-o. well i never. now i have seen the film cleopatra and.. well.... shame on me for not realising.

Watched Man about the house on TV recently from the first episode. It was great stuff, far better than I remember and way ahead of today's crap (the clothes and wallpaper should have been in the credits). Richard o Sullivan was, I think, the main reason for this, a likeable cheeky rogue and one of the people who sums up the 1970's for me, a legendary and underrated decade, possibly the last where people trully displayed distinct originality and individuality.

What a wonderful tribute to a wonderful actor and gentlemen you've created Mark. It's brought back many happy memories for me of watching Man About The House and Robins Nest and the countless other work he's appeared in and to which he always brought his very unique and special charm. I saw him recently in the 1968 film 'A Dandy in Aspic' alongside Laurence Harvey, Tom Courtenay and Mia Farrow and his star quality was so evident ....what a gifted actor he is. Richard if your reading this thank you for all your amazing and varied work and for giving so much pleasure to so many ! All my best wishes to you ! 😉👍

Mischief too. When you go in a home for the elderly it’s not all knitting and dribbling it can be friendships and hope and laughter. xx Thankyou again.

What a wonderful tribute to Richard O'Sullivan. I had no idea that he had acted as a child in so many productions. Being born in the late 60s. I first watched Richard in the iconic 'Man About the House', he was a great actor and brought us decades of great entertainment. I think that the 70s was one of the best, of not the best decade of British comedy, it always brings a tear to my eye seeing re-runs of those fantastic series. Thank you, Richard.

Thank you very much for this wonderful tribute to Richard, one I hope he gets to see and know how much he was appreciated. I never knew how prolific an actor he was as a young lad, and so talented. But the biggest thank you is to Richard himself. I bet he has some wonderful tales to tell of the many stars he worked alongside, has he, or is he able to write his memoirs I wonder? I am heartened to hear he is being looked after well and has good company. Thank you 💕🙏
