TMR Chassis Brackets, Mounts, & More

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

We officially finished welding up the TMR Customs Race Chassis! As the title suggests, we make more progress by installing shock mounts, upper and lower link brackets, as well as adding some needed tube gussets. We also get the chassis prepped for a floor, dash panel, and the front and rear sway bars in place.
Again, a special thanks to TMR Customs! Without their support, we wouldn't be building a 4800 car. Make sure and check out their other off-road necessities!

Great build. But I think the first thing I would have built would have been a table. My knees hurt just watching you.

Where did you get your sway bar/recovery brackets from? I like them. I’m in the process of building a TMR chassis also. Thanks for the videos.

Check out TMR's chassis tab online. They are a new design they released and super beefy. Will definitely get the job done. I appreciate the follow.

you guys do a great job describing what you are trying to accomplish when explaining your reasoning for your gusseting tubes. I would forget to explain that. just wondering if your shock tower support cross member was going to be left straight or were you going to have one that arched up and across. it would make for a more appealing styling look and give more clearance for the top of the engine. I wish you were closer I would love to be able to see the project first hand. Where I am I don't know anyone around that does off road stuff I'm 100 miles from the nearest city of only 40k people so its much harder to find people near by to run ideas by and participate in these kind of builds. Montana is pretty wide open and few people which is awesome on one hand but sucks wen you need something or just want to talk to someone in person. anyways Love the channel wish you could get more content out but I understand life comes before KZread look forward to the next video.

Thank you for the kind and encouraging words. I forget a lot when I record and have to go back and add it in later. But the cross over support will be determined when the motor is installed. Straighter the better for strength, but there’s always limitations. It’ll all be covered regardless with a hood, hopefully in the next video. If you ever have questions or ideas to throw around, feel free to hit me up on Instagram.

Are you guys planning on coming out to Hammers 22? Guessing this won’t be done in time for KOH. Just wondering

KOH 22 is still up in the air right now for us. From the East Coast, KOH is a logistical nightmare. More than likely attend, but not race. Planning on racing some East Coast races in 4800 car this year for KOH 23.

@@FSUOffRoad I hear ya, I’m planning to go just to spectate. I’ve never gone and just watched/helped out so it’ll definitely be a different experience! Hoping to get the Comanche rebuild for 4500 complete by early 22.
