As someone in the chat said, people don't hate Kazuya, they hate Kazuya players. Some of the most toxic players I've met always seem to be Kazuya players. I think it's probably due to Kazuya being the ultimate skill character so if you do good with him then you are seen as a great player which toxic players need such validation to feel good about themselves. That's just my pet theory anyway. I honestly love matching against Kazuya, cause most of the time it's an honest fight without a bunch of stupid gimmicks. If I get beat I know I just guessed wrong and they played better then me.

@@igg7865im a kazuya player and i have to confess that i am sometimes like that lol… having to play with a character like kazuya is frustrating due to other characters have way more stuff that makes life easier. Kazuya is like still in t7 but the others moved on to t8. Basically he doesnt have broken stuff

@dylaroo24 Honestly, facts. I play Kazuya and that was me for my first 4 months of playing Tekken. I didn't appreciate what he can do, and only focused on what he couldn't do. It's a shame because Kazuya is such a cool character, but the way he works just brings out the worst in a sizable amount of the fanbase, using him or facing him

Guys, how do yall lab other characters? I've always watched replays and tried to lab but I feel like I'm doing something wrong here. Because the practice mode only shows "videos" of the moves in your own move list, I have to manually go one by one through the move list of the character I wanna lab until I get the right one. Am I doing it wrong? I feel like this takes forever and is super inefficient, but I don't have a character ocean like all the great players so theres no way I can intuitively record moves when I don't know any.

Is there a particular reason MM doesn't jab cancel ff3? Every other Jin i see does it because it also allows a jab float on hit and a +1 on block. Maybe I am misunderstanding something about it though.

2 things, 1, hes a Kaz Main probably cannot comprehend 2, ff3,1 is good but only if you expect your opponent to block. If they get hit you might mess up your own launch if you go for jab strings or worse they read you and launch your safe mid launcher bc you wanted to jab.

@@svr7823 Yes, the normal heat smash is +3 on block while the kick version is +9. When the normal heat smash is blocked Jin can go into a crouch dash stance and attack but opponents might interrupt this with a quick jab or so. The kick version becomes more valuable when your opponent is up against the wall because you can knock them back and threaten a df4 or a wall splat with df1,4

Wish they'd given Jin the same input for just frame electrics, maybe I could do one then 😅

​@One4theUnderdog almost. You can't do it the same way as with Reina and Kazuya though he doesn't have a mist step. It's forward, neutral, down then down forward I think. Just weird timing.

For pad try to press 2 right after you hit the down input 9 times out of 10 you'll hit it with muscle memory trained It's important to learn this because you can't use mist step to throw electrics out of wavedash

Hi! Can I get some advice from anyone from here? I wanna be honest... I play ranked Jin and I lost a lot of times... But no against regular or good players. I lost a lot againts people who always use the heat systems and Rage arts. Especialy I lost against the spamers who always use 3 attacks. But when I play someone who play "better" I win most of the time. It is just me or what's going on? Is normal this is happening to me or what?

My brother played exactly like that, and I am having hard time against him at first. I am guessing That kind of player is just attack on punish/counter, and find the right time to land their Rage art/Heat smash right? If that's what you're facing, you just need to be patient and spam them with grab, command grab and low. I win everytime against my brother by doing this

@@ericalfon1620 Yeah exatly like that, I feel like I can take almost any player (no pro players) but I really hate been ol¡nline and find out that still in rank 25 they spaming 3 attacks and land me the rage at te right time... I mean, they do this all the time. Thay have to be good doing this right? Believe me, I do lows and grabs. With grabs bad because the ones who has good distans they can be free with 1 or 2, but those you have to free with 1+2 I have to get closer. With Jin doing lows is pretty ok in this game compare to others. But you know what that's make me do? Spaming as well. I feel like online in tekken is forcing me to play bad and forcing me to do spam all the time... Just to win... And I don't like that... I enjoy more a combat against CPU than been online. Because, drag, bryan, paul, lili, jack, claudio, king etc do the same all the time... Is if that what i'm still founding in rank 20-25, what is waiting for me in God of Destruction? The same? What is the Goal been in God of Destruccion and still I'm not a pro player with Jin? I'm not half good as can be a pro player, but really don't much differents...

​@@Gara19Learning a character and playing them online are two different things. I'd say Kazuya is the easiest Mishima to 'learn' because his moveset is much simpler than Jin's. Combo routes are arguable but most Kazuya players seem to rely on 50/50 anyway.

The problem is not the ping tmm, the problem is the hardware where people play, look at delayed frame and rollback frame. They need to do something about this because frame lag during match it’s dogshit. Cool Jin btw, as usual one of the best Mishima player around 😁

I noticed that when I play online...if there's lag of any kind...you won't be able block correctly...meaning if your opponent decides to heat smash or rage art. Your azz is grass. This is why I don't accept WiFi matches

Just a small sidenote. You can cancel the match if the connection is too bad, by holding start(options). Telling you this bc there are people with good wifi (like myself), that would love to get more and faster matches, but I get where you are coming from. I ran into quie a few players with bad wifi myself.
