How do one get to know the last day of your dip before it rises the next day so one can baby dance on that expected ovulation day especially when trying for a male child.

Hi nosa I am having a doubt here u had mentioned that Thursday is the day u had ovulated but we will get to know that was our ovulation day only after we test temperature on Friday right? By that time egg will b still alive bcoz that 24 hours will be over right

I want to say something about d body temperature before period & ovulation. Mine is always high before my period & I usually feel Abit feverish & some malaria signs , few days before my period. Can you please tell me what about if you get peak on strip and digital couple days after temp dip? Which method would be correct ? Does the peak not matter than the bbt?

I actually did that. I got a peak the day after my temperature dipped. So it is possible that luteinizing hormone will rise simultaneously with temperature changes. Best advice is to maximize your chances throughout your fertile window.

From the First day of your period until after you have confirmed ovulation.

Can I record it at 3am every night as I set an alarm?.. because I have a baby who wakes up every now and then & my sleep gets disorganized. But if I can sleep up to 3am and record by BBT, will it work ?

Hi I totally understand your situation. I don’t think this method will be suitable for you. If you wake up at 3am and you don’t go back to sleep again then you can try it but if you have to go back to bed then your results at 3am is considered inaccurate. If you get up at 3 and then you’re able to get another 3 hours of rest uninterrupted then you can use this method. Hope this helps.

Ovulation means your ovaries will release an egg. That only happens once and that egg has only 24 hours to live. So your chances to conceive after you ovulate are low.
