Rev. Dr. Jose Puthiyedath is talking about self-courage "Even when the disciples ran away from Jesus, Simon of Cyrene ran towards Jesus to help him carry his cross, and like that, plenty of people in our society will come towards us to help us by the persuasion of the Holy Spirit. But we can see more bravery in the life of Saint Veronica, who bravely runs towards Jesus without looking at any other faces or bothering the soldiers or the people who were shouting against Jesus, even though many were trying to stop her from reaching Jesus, she bravely went near him and wiped his face with her veil and tried to help and comfort Jesus as she could.
He says that is a personality we need to follow and accept; we need to have the bravery of Saint Veronica, and that to lead a Christian life, the most important thing we need is self-courage, the grace of courage. He says that without the grace of courage, we can't live a Christian life because it is always challenging, and we need to pray by standing in front of the Holy Cross of Jesus to get this grace of courage. He ends by saying that if we ever face any challenges, there is no need to panic because the Holy Spirit is going to give us the power to live the Christian life."
