My comments are for this and all the other vides I watched produced by The RCNetwork, thank you for taking the time to inform the RC community. Being new to RC, the videos have reduced my learning curve for all things RC in the world of short course trucks and buggies. RCNetwork videos has proved invaluable in expanding RC knowledge and experience. The production of each video is well thought out and focused. Thank you very much RC Network.

Wow, John, thanks for the nice comments. It's a lot of work to produce these videos, but quite worth it what people are seeing the value. Thanks again!
Been running this for a few months. Have 2. One on carpet and one on high bite clay. So smooth. Very little upgrades needed. Mostly kit setup, minor adjustments. Highly recommend

Quality build, white motors wires are a nice touch. Currently building mine, coming from 1/8 losi cars it’s an easy build as the design is very similar. Can’t wait to drive it.

Looks like an awesome build! I'm not really into racing, nor do I have any local tracks, but would love to build one of these high-end race kits - just because they look pretty sexy. Would you ever recommend running one at a local parking lot... Meaning will they handle a very flat & fast surface, or should I stick with an Infraction for that? If no, what other surfaces could be considered? I've had my eye on the TLR 8ight XE for a while.
@TheRCNetwork
4 жыл бұрын
1/8th scale would be more inline with the infraction - like the 8ight XE - it will similar with size, but way better (higher end) components.
I’ll look for your car at OCRC when this quarantine is over. 👍

Hi all, Can someone please explain me benefits of graphite did gears? When do we use it and is it strong enough for Modify class?
@TheRCNetwork

I would NOT use graphite for modified.....graphite is for stock class to remove additional weight. In Mod, you don't need to worry about that....just put the finger on the trigger!

@TheRCNetwork
4 жыл бұрын
The old 2wd? I'd get the Tekin Pro2 - 5100kv would scream on that! The Pro2 will have more torque that the SCT would need
HI Rich , nice video as always but are you able to put the included fan on the RSX pro ? does it fit with the body on ?? I say this because a cooler ESC is always better, I wonder the temps( motor and ESC) after a 5 or 7 minutes of hard driving at OCRC. Thanks

I really like RawSpeed RC wheels on my 5.0, but their rubber hasn't had good enough lifespan for me on my local clay track - they just wear into slicks after one day. But the wheels are better balanced than anything I've tried so far.
@TheRCNetwork
4 жыл бұрын
Sorry to hear that - some clay tracks have a lot of sand . mixed in for grip - causing excessive wear. My local track does not - making tires last pretty long

Hey man quick question. I put a reedy 10.5 censored motor in my proline pro 2 sct 2wd. It’s running hot on 16 , 19 , 20 , and 23 pinion gear. What should I do?
@TheRCNetwork
4 жыл бұрын
Heat comes from different things: Terrain? Weight of truck? Free drivetrain? ESC and Battery? The reedy 10.5t should be fine for the Pro2, but not ideal. It's a 2 pole motor, so doesn't have the best amount of torque like a 4 pole motor will have.
@brandoncortez5669
4 жыл бұрын
Yeah I ended up putting a 15t pinion on an 86 spur. I can put my finger in it for only 5-7 seconds. Replaced bearings. Running 2s. My gearbox is a little more stiff so that could be it. I’ll figure it out. Thanks
Expensive set up 👍🤔😷

After running them for a while now, would you say the TLR design is better than the Tekno or vice versa?
@TheRCNetwork
2 жыл бұрын
I'm still biased toward Tekno. I just feel much more confident driving the EB410.2. The 22X-4 just seemed fragile and slightly finicky. It was very smooth and quiet though

are those 2wd frt tires or 4wd they seem narrow

I did just by a rustler 4x4 and am having a blast bashing. So my question is this. I’m going to get a kit and I am deciding between this kit and the new tekno 4x4 truggy kit. Any pointers or opinions?
@TheRCNetwork
4 жыл бұрын
The ET410 (Tekno's 1/10th truggy) is a blast to drive - much wider than a buggy (like the 22X-4) . It also accepts standard Stadium truck wheels/tires or SCT wheels/tires. between the two - the 22X-4 will be more mainstream - or more opportunities to race (if that's what you're going to do)......some places have adopted 1/10th scale truggy classes, but only Tekno and Xray have an official 4wd truggy - some places have allowed 1/10th truggy to race with SCT.

When the track by me was still open, 4wd buggy (1/10th scale) was the second most popular class next to 2wd buggy (1/10th scale). I'd make sure there's classes near you first before you commit to it. Also, look at the Tekno EB410.2 - I think it's a bit better first time build and drive over the TLR. I also have a series on the EB410.2 on my channel
