Thanks for this 4k review of 70 Rocks! This is exactly what I was looking for. High mileage, great onroad, and good offroad. Would you agree this is such a tire setup?

They are great tires. I’m doing more off road now so using something more aggressive but I sacrifice the on road comfort.

Just bought a pair of these if I do get 4000miles from them,I probably have had no fun,my point is it depends how hard you ride

Hi I have just purchased these tires but riding away from the garage after fitting the bike felt loose and uneasy I stopped to check the tire pressure….. all was ok I’ve only done a handful of miles on these tires presently does this feeling disappear ? if it doesn’t I will be changing tires again Thanks

That’s strange, switching from the OEM I immediately felt more grip and control in the road. Make sure all the residue from manufacturing is off, that can make them very slippery. What tire are you coming from?

I can’t believe you got 4,000 miles on that ROCKS tire, and it still has that much tread on it. Are you sure you calculated 4K correctly? I just changed out my TKC 70 ROCKS at 3,400 miles, and it was smoked down to 2.5/32”. I liked it on street, and it was pretty good off road, but I want more mileage out of a tire. Based on my experience, it doesn’t seem possible that your TKC 70 rocks could look that good still after 4000 miles!

Lots of factors to consider when measuring how it’s possible for the tire to last shorter or longer than others; Same bike, rider weight, riding style, climate, and road material chemistry to name a few. Mine definitely hit the 4k mark with what you see in the video.
