I'm booked in next week, Ross was recommended to me by a friend who had a fitting. If I hit 75+ full drives I'll be leaving in an ambulance 😂

I have similar swing speed as TJ, struggled with the TSR3 8° (spiny and too high ball flight) the last 6 months or so. Recently got fitted into Callaway Smoke Triple Diamond 8° and it flattened out my flight and reduced spin. Very forgiving all over the face (as advertised). First Callaway driver ever but couldn’t be happier.

What an amazing fit!!! So stable

Awesome fitting thanks, I’ve never been fitted for a driver before (I hit my second hand Cobra F9 at 16 degree launch and 2200 spin after some tinkering) it might be time to try a proper fitting!

That's brilliant numbers tbf Rich! Probably going to struggle to eek out many more yards than that because those launch conditions are super optimised 👌 but always worth a look as you never know you will uncover 👀👀

I wish my local fitters had this many combos to try... That's what I get for living on a small island. 🤦‍♂️

Please do a video with the new Proxima shaft. Straightest shaft I’ve ever hit and best in the wind. Also very long and straight.

Awesome video and fitting as usual Just wondering do you ever change balls in your fitting process 🤔 say the darkspeed was 2800 with pv1x, would pv1l- be less Genuinely interested (At my level it makes no difference 😂)

Thanks Oliver! And genrally not in driver fits no. Doesn't make much differnec with driver really. Irons it can make quite a big difference.

I have this swing speed, but currently hitting 4-5 down with driver so losing 30-40 carry! Any tips on driver setup or should I focus on swing changes

What is the head weight of the darkspeed ls? I can't seem to find it anywhere

Dear Ross, with all due respect to superhuman golfers like TJ, Rory and yourself, I’m a mere mortal with a driver head speed of 95 mph max tops - and that’s only on a very good day. I play with other similar mortals (although there’s one new guy I’m not too sure about). I therefore find fittings for clubs on the regular/stiff border much more relevant. But maybe I’m more the exception than the rule. Cheers.

We have had slower swing speeds in for fittings prevoulsy. There are also a ton of people out there that do swing the same speed as me and TJ. So we will have a whole range of speeds on the channel.

Yes, fair point, and I’ve seen a few of your slower swing customers too. I didn’t mean any offence - I’m just a bit jealous of players who can hit it a mile. Keep up the good work!

I like your videos, but why not try a different shaft in the TSR 3 w an 8* head cranked down? Are you hating on the TSR 3 now? 😂

Why would he only get 1.44 smash when he middled the Callaway with perfect launch and spin conditions towards the end? I thought middle strikes get close to 1.50

1.50 is Trackman, on GC Quad 1.45 is essentially the equivalent of 1.50 on Trackman. And that’s because they measure swing speed differently. But not everyone will get max efficiency even with a middle strike. There are lots of factors that will effect it

This was filmed quite a while ago and we didn't have Ping, but it would have been way too high spin anyway

No Ping Driver? 1/3 the Masters field used a Ping Driver for a reason.

Unfortunately the Callaway AI TD is so fade biased (the face sits wide open and flat even in +1/D) that none of my better player friends would play it over the very neutral TSR3. Our golf course plays right to left on nearly half the holes - and I have an inside out path. I can't be blocking that open face to the right on those holes because I didn't force the face closure. I'm not going to start a ball over water on a dog-leg left so I can play Callaway. I think they're going to release a neutral version to retail at some point - too many reviews of the club are that it can't be turned over without extreme intention.
