My company bought an MS60, it started to crash right out of the box. The data collector screen was a major upgrade.
I just got accepted into a Geomatics program so i definitely love to hear that this technology is enabling companies to hire less people...

LOL, don't worry, the average age of a land surveyor is 60 according to the census. Surveying has been around since the Egyptians and demand won't disappear anytime soon. You heard it from the director here, "Good help is hard to find"!

for small area projects curvature is ignored.

@@FlatEnough It would depend on the level of precision needed for the project, for 99% of surveying it's a none factor.

These instruments LEICA made our life easier without them, we would have stayed all our lives in time, would have been back much day and night, would have been picking on projects, and new technology will give us relief much more advantages for geologists, engineers, builders, surveyors, surveyors, and the like branches of geolocation of the earth ...
