I want to stake a line at any increment or chainage... is this possible. For example I want to mark out grid lines on batter boards. Instead of figuring out the increment at the batter board, I just need Hz offset of the line(in/out or left/right)

Thank you for your comment. Tilt compensation is turned off when tilt initialization is lost. There could be many reasons for losing tilt initialization, but not moving the receiver does not necessarily mean switching off tilt compensation automatically. Please, add a "explode" line to create a new line for each segment.
In the Edit points (or Line tab) should have a new tab called stake out as a key shortcut to directly stake the selected point or line in the points or line manager.
If we are using the GPS and we are staking out ( RTK via VRS) it shoud warning us or locking the display if it is out of accurancy. Leica only shows a message box in case of saving the mesured point and this is out of accurancy. But how we are controlling the accurancy during the staking out? Do the same when it lose the gprs signal..
But how does it work? Does the pole have a sensor that can detect the angle it is tilted from Z and sends this information to the TS?

Dear Leica Team, I was working today on site with the X6/ 360-X. When working with the Leica Disto App, the export functions provides very rudimentary DXF/DWG data, in which measured points are displayed as a drawn “X” (two intersecting line segments). This is extremely illegible for working with many measuring points and feels like CAD data from the 1980s. Additionally, no written information is being added, no images are being saved. In contrast, the data that is created within the device without the app is displayed very clearly. Even a CSV list is created, which is very useful for surveying work. Unfortunately, the relocation function is missing when working without the device only (without the app). So you have to decide every time before you start to measure: rudimentary files with with relocation OR a good data basis without relocation. Please, dear Leica team - invest some time into the app. It could become a powerful for architects! Thank you!

I have the leica disto x4 with the dst360 and i seem to have a problem with the relocation. I can set the first 3 secure points but i can't add more, so i would like to know if there is any tutorial showing how I can add more secure points and is there any limit to secure points i can have in my project. There is no upper limit to the total number of secure points when performing a relocation. Dear Leica team, is it possible to do more than one relocation with 3 different secure points. Or is it always necessary to target the first 3 ones?
@Topomarket, the relocation can be carried out with any 3 secure points. Assuming you have 6 secure points, you can target any of these 6 points for the relocation and thus combine the secure points of the first and second relocation. It is also possible to use the same group of secure points for multiple relocations.

@@Topomarket there is no limit on number of relocations you can perform. At the same time, you can relocate your set-up independently on the first room. If you want to measure the rooms one after the other, you can of course do so.

Hello. I am using Leica disto s910. Is Disto x6 better in terms of sensitivity or are both devices the same in terms of sensitivity? If the X6 uses more precise measurements, I may prefer it.
Dear Customer, as far as the accuracy is concerned, both devices achieve the same 1.0 mm accuracy (depending on the conditions). The similar accuracy is also achieved when using the P2P measurements. In this regard, both devices are comparable. DISTO X6 has the advantage when it comes to the storage (1 000 DFX points instead of 30), functions (brand new Point-to-Line function) and the operability (faster star-up time etc.).
I have recently bought the set (X6 and 360-X) and I am quite happy with it. Still I wonder, if some of these functions could be integrated in the near future: - adding written information / predefined tags to the points (“tree”, “stone”, “corner”) - setting a predefined offset in z-axis (when working in landscapes with a leveled “stick”) - removing the need of always adding 3 secure points to the existing ones (sometimes 4 points would be enough in total) Dear Leica, please do it right this time! It could become a great tool (instead of a nice toy) in future. Best!

When I catch the slope on my CLH, it works, but it never displays the slope on the laser unit lcd screen. This means I can't manually input the slope in the future for grading. Is there a way to display the captured slope on CLH?

There are two ways to switch on/off the pointfinder: Option 1: Press and hold the zoom key (upper arrow key) for 2 seconds to switch the pointfinder on/off. Option 2: Go to the Settings and go the the page three by moving right in the menu to find the Pointfinder option and turn it on/off by pressing ON/DIST or equal button.

With the bluetooth csn you transfer the camera picture of the disto to the tablet ? So that you have a larger picture on what you are focusing, especiallty when working outside. Thanks.

How come I can’t export in 3d? All the options are only 2D
There is an option to export measurements in 2D+Height format, i.e. a 2D plane extended by a certain height. The exported file then looks like a 3D model, but since it is only an extended version of a flat plane, we have decided to call this export 2D+Height.
I'm very disappointed with the Leica Disto Plan, I bought the disto X4 for the smart room function and it works with only 20 points, most of the houses I design give more than 20 points. pay so much and have a product with limited application.😞😤

@@LeicaGeosystemsCH I have a Leica s910 with FTA 360, my intention in buying the X4 was the speed to create floor plans. The S910 is slow compared to the X4 and doesn't need to keep moving the tripod.
