Rusinov Photography there is 0 micro transactions, pave aka story, a ton of weapons abilities and more, easy to pick up hard to master, all that with a brilliant campaign and more, if your saying it is a full price games with things like weapons behind a paywall then you have not played titanfall 2.

I don't see low player base as that big a deal really. The game still matches you quickly and i find running into streamers and the same players more than once a regular occurence. It's pretty cool to play with some of the best in the game and it's made me a better player because of it.

Thats the problem with the playerbase. Some reviewers (Dunkey did this on Assassins creed for example) complain that the campaign is too stretched out and the "fun parts" are interrupted by boring stuff. Others complain that the campaign is fun but too short, and making one thats long enough AND fun all the time is pretty much impossible for most.

Hey you, Apex player - give Titanfall 2 a try. It deserves your time and attention. July 2020: Player counts are increasing drastically because of the Steam release. Finally this game is getting the attention it deserves. September 2020: PS4 Ultimate Edition now 5 bucks!

EA are probably waiting for a mid summer or fall release next year and it being a big selling point for Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. Ps5 and Series X release at the end of this year. Would be pointless to release the game for One and Ps4

This is one of the very very few games where I could literally be in the bottom of the leaderboard performing the absolute worst on the team, and still be having an absolute blast

Usually in other games like COD I respond to every death like “cheap strategy” or something like that to a camper. But I’m having so much of a blast in Titanfall that every death I have in a match feels deserved cause I see the opponent just fly over me gracefully when he takes me out that I’m just like “Smooth. Respect+”

@@jessetheanimenerd3304 Titanfall 1 & 2's multiplayer has been completely destroyed by DDOS attacks, making it physically impossible to even load into the multiplayer main menu. Titanfall 1 has been destroyed for a long time, but as of a couple weeks ago Titanfall 2 has been permanently DDOSsed. Fortunately, the community created a custom client you can download that allows people to host their own servers with custom game modes, but most servers are laggy and there's no support for AI just yet, so no grunts and such. The DDOS attacks have been going on for years and Respawn has never said a word about it. They're not really obligated to fix it but it's scummy how they praise Titanfall yet let it get completely destroyed. It's theorized that it's literally one person doing the attacks, and it's a true disgrace how insecure Respawn's servers are from attacks.

+Help Titanfall 2 has a very VERY strong campaign. The plot isn't anything new or interesting, but the level design is top notch, and one of the best of any FPS game this year (even better than Doom 2016). Like it's so good that I would go back and play the campaign multiple times just because of how fun it is to play it. Being able to enemies while wall-running is so satisfying. Also the multiplayer is some of the best that I've seen.

Titanfall 2 is what Titanfall 1 should be, but I'm glad they learned from their mistake and gave us the Titanfall we've all wanted.

Eh disagree. Titanfall 2 changes everything that was good about Titanfall 1. Especially the maps. The new maps are absolutely terrible. Way too small, the 3 lane design is boring and makes for terrible titan vs pilot gameplay. Constantly running into 2-3 enemies at a time gets old fast.

See joe, reviews dont have to be 35 minutes long with acting and props etc. About 15 mins, DETAILS, FACTS, VALID POINTS, CRITIQUE. Im sure im not alone when i say i love this kind of semi short, sweet and to the point kind of review. Hope this is a step in the right direction. =]

Jesus man the hostility, i never said i dont like the reviews with the acting and props, infact i love those reviews more than these. Im just saying not EVERY review has to be that in depth. He can do a sick ass review for a aaa game and then a review like this for a say, dishonorned 2, and similar titles that dont warrant a full fledged review. This review was spot on and it probably took joe a few days to make.

Got the Ultimate Edition for $4.50 today in the Xbox store. Wouldn't even have watched the reviews if it wasn't for Apex Legends - simply wasn't interested, until now. Now I almoat find it a shame that it took me so long.

Over 4 years later and I’m sad TitanFall 3 hasn’t come to light yet, yes I know there’s Apex Legends but that’s just a stand alone battle royal spin-off. TitanFall 2 was amazing.

I am with you on this! I can't handle long games because I get bored and I end up wishing for them to end already. With multiplayer aspect this strong, TF2 single player campaign was 100% satisfactory to me. Long single player campaigns are like heroes to me that either die earlier as a good guys or live long enough to die as villains by the end. :D For the sake of extending/stretching campaign, risk of diluting the fun aspect of it gets higher.

Why is EA's ownership of Respawn news all of a sudden? I'm pretty sure EA owned them all the way back when they shipped Titanfall 1. They published the game didn't they? They published Titanfall 2 and will publish Respawn's Star Wars game. EA always owned Respawn as far as I know, and they were and are still a good developer despite that.

Talhah Qureshi Respawn said they “allowed” themselves to be absorbed because it would give them more options for Titanfall (?) so I’m holding out hope they have a fair bit of autonomy.

The campaign is short because it's very easily repeatable. I'd rather have a five hour campaign that I wanna reply than have a ten hour one I don't even want to finish

i dont thik so, there's no possible link between them so it's a daring streach that no one in their right mind would believe. I think its more likely they correct the release date thing, so they do not release it right in the middle of two Gargantuan releases of franchises that are in the market for a decade like Battlefield and CAll of Duty as it means suicide.

This was an intentional move, with BF1 and TF2 coming out at the same time, COD has sunk to an early grave, EA won't drop TF, it will now likely go back to cycled releases to keep the market share. This was an intentional double blow to sink COD.

A lot of people didn’t like the weapon customisation in Titanfall because you had to figure out what weapons and abilities the Titan had whilst battling it simultaneously. The class system in Titanfall 2 works better because you know which Titan you are facing and what weapons and abilities that you need to look out for

It’s sad when companies release gems like this, no bs just the game and there is only a tiny player base when games like cod and companies that include bs season passes and dlc get millions of players

BF has potential but the community makes it a boring camp fest. I get it's supposed to be realistic (they don't advertise this but their players believe it somehow) and you "camp" in a real war but it's a GAME! May as well turn your chair around and stare at the wall.

Yeah that is extremely dumb. The first Titanfall was already more or less a niche game, putting the second between Battlefield 1 (which was highly anticipated) and Call of Duty IW (with MW-Remaster) feels unfair. Especially considering that Titanfall 2 plays extremely well.

ea really wanted it to become the next cod killer and yes in my opinion it is the next cod killer but how they do release date is pissing me off. literally next to battlefield 1 which is highly anticipated. i want more people to support this game and people who are just bored of cod should try out this game, its refreshing compared to the same old copy and paste game cod brings. ive had a blast with this on ps4 and i hope respawn make enough to make a titanfall 3

I really disagree with the length of the campaign. They don't have CoD budget and have to split their budget between multiplayer and campaign. I feel like the outdid themselves with the single player levels and i'd rather go through them again and again on higher difficulties than have them scramble together 5 hours worth of gameplay

EA wants to squeeze out COD from the competition by oversaturating the market with Battlefield and Titanfall. Thats why they released them around the same time.

Titanfall 2 (and other EA titles are now on Steam). More than 6 months ago, the player base was less than 300. Now I see it above 7-8K players. Huge difference. I am glad to see this game active again. Also glad that my Origin data/progess transferred as long as I had the main client open in the background. Now 10k players online....

@@T3noir Titanfall 1 & 2's multiplayer has been destroyed due to DDOS attacks and Respawn has said literally nothing about or done anything. It started off with TF1, that got destroyed by bots then eventually permanently DDOSsed, then TF2 got permanently DDOSsed like a week ago. It's also speculated that literally one person is doing all of it, and their server infrastructure is so bad that this can even happen is worrying. Thankfully the community is goated and they've made something called the Northstar client which allows people to host their own custom servers with custom game modes. But it's limited, anyone can host a server so most will be laggy and there's no support for AI just yet, so no Attrition, the staple game mode. So now if you wanna play TF2's multiplayer you gotta download that client. Still doesn't change the fact that Respawn has neglected the game despite repeatedly saying that they love it.

There's definitely enough that I'd say 45 seconds is the average time it'd take to get into a match after you begin searching (ignoring the 30sec grace period between matches that titanfall gives you to tweak loadouts). That said, I've mostly just been playing attrition so mileage may vary on the other modes.

Conclusion : I am 100% in love with Titanfall !

It's such a shame that EA absolutely killed the sales potential on this game by releasing right next to BF1, when they released the article on why they released it so close to BF1 they destroyed TF2 because everyone watched the sales of TF2 get run over by the BF1 hype train

It would have been much better to release it in December or January. I dunno if EA realizes this, but CoDs nowadays barely capture the attention of players beyond just 2 months. A mid-December would take advantage of Christmas sales, and a January release would take advantage of people becoming bored with Infinite Warfare. If I were the marketing chair of EA for Titanfall 2, either of those two windows would have been great!

You mentioned an article on why they released it at that time and just dropped the topic mid sentence. I have listened to an actual interview though and the guy had to give PR nonsense about it to save face. Basically EA established a release time a, "long time ago" and the head of the project stated that he could do nothing to change it. If this game had a summer release or even a release next January, it would have been far enough removed to have had amazing sales. EA really screwed this game over. Hopefully black Friday sales help it out. I can't believe more people aren't hopping on a AAA game with a free season pass.

I just bought Titanfall2 yesterday(after trying the demo) thanks to Apex Legends. Can't wait to play it tonight.

I love the titanfall community so much. It's so much more inviting than other games, and it's players have a strong connection to its developers. Not to mention when apex ledgends came out the titanfall community welcomed it with open arms even though it wasn't titanfall 3 and was a battle royale game.

I'm not going to lie. when I played this game, I was expecting this game to flop like the first but damn was I wrong. this game is awesome. so awesome that I bought this game instead of infinite warfare.

It was a flop in terms of Content but it wasn't in terms of revenue.

He didnt talk about the breaking of immersion by them removing first person embarking Into your Titan. Not the biggest issue but there are people begging for it back.

Noah Friscopp Ahh, my apologies. But yes, the immersion of the game was one of the standpoints for it. Now every time you enter a Titan its like "HEY YOU'RE PLAYING A GAME", rather than "We work better as one, Pilot"

Amir Hasty It's all good, and yes. The third person embarking is fine but certainly doesn't feel as good.

This game is the quintessential example of how a short but 100% awesome campaign beats the tar out of the padded garbage we've gotten for the past decade or so.

I didn’t play the first one but, I picked up the second one instead of BF1 and I was soo impressed. Loved every aspect of the game

Battlefield 1 and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare? Nah... Doom and Titanfall 2 are where it's at!

Good to see that that the devs actually improved the game, gives me hope when that happens.

A 5 hour campaign worth replaying multiple times is far better than a 10 hour campaign hardly worth finishing. I have played the campaign several times and I’m still finding new secrets and parkour routes.

Beat it on Xbox on release. Then later bought it for cheap for PS4 and beat it. It’s a nice campaign no doubt.

Yeah honestly if I play the game they had a 10 hour long campaign but it sucked, that would not be worth my money.

I play this darn near everyday now. I was only introduced to this game earlier this game. Scorch is my Titan. Fell in love with him as soon as I unlocked him. 5 months of playing this and I have now gotten my beloved Scorch to Gen 100. Tone is only gen 36.4 as my 2nd best titan with Monarch close behind. I ROCK Frontier Defense. Never been the greatest in PvP. But after playing a few games, I'm usually 2nd or 3rd on my team in Multi-player. I don't see myself stopping playing unless TF3 comes out. So glad I found this game for Xbox.

I really wish Bungie could have made the Halo 3 Master Chief Helmet Wearable.

That was the last game I bothered to wait in line for, let alone buy the most expensive version. Expected the helmet to be wearable, or at least easily customizable to make it wearable, but naw. They loaded it with hard-plastic filler, which made customisation extremely difficult, and wearing impossible, unless you seriously want to cut out/smooth down dozens upon dozens of hard plastic points.

Yeah that was an epic fail. I didn't get the version with the helmet, but I'd be pissed when I got it.

I did wear the helmet, and I got SUPER excited that I get to wear the Master Chief helmet. But I got mad when I didn't get it.

General CJG I would if I could play it :( I just like to keep up with gming culture right now while I'm unable to play the more resource intensive games. If I had to choose between the 3 big fps this fall TF2 would be my choice (titanfall2 not teamfortress 2 lol)

I know that People Kinda hate how op the titans are against pilots but that’s the point The pilots are supposed to be fast and the smarts while titans are More Aggressive there suppose to be literal killing MACHINES

People seriously complained about the Titans being stronger than pilots? That doesn’t even make any sense.

I just completed Titanfall 2's campaign a few hours ago, and wow. I don't think I've ever enjoyed a shooter campaign anywhere near as much as this one.
