All I ever imagine when reading these comments is the engineer from tf2 saying it
The dissonance between "I impulse-bought TWO FW-Titans." and "Wood is expensive!" was somehow really amusing to me^^
and also, titans are usually deployed in teams, so it's even more lore accurate

The sheer courage of committing to THREE Titans at once (one of which is scratch built) is admirable, and I can’t wait to see more! Also, if you can lure Midwinter Minis across the Atlantic, y’all could do a Titan fight whenever his Warlord is ready and some of your Titans are done!

The titans for detail levels reference was a great idea, it'll be sweet to display them next to each other too.
I have't played Warhammer in like 10 years and I have been waiting for this video lol
I’ve been reading the novels for a few years now but this project is the inspiration I needed to finally dive into the miniature scene. Ordering a box of Skitarii now to finally start a forge world.
@PraetorGix

Gonna give you the best advice anybody will give you ever relating to 40k: DO NOT buy GW miniatures, every day that goes by it's a worse proposition to start spending money on those bloodsuckers. Go get yourself a 3D printer and you will have many many more miniatures and much more money in your pocket by the end.
@atracura9554

Way to support the franchise! The day the last Games Workshop closes will be a dark day indeed. Put away your 3d printer, have a soul.
@PraetorGix

@@atracura9554 And where did you get the notion that my intent is to support the franchise? Oh and BTW? The argument that GW will close shop because of 3D printing is VERY old and VERY wrong. Don't take my word for it, go and do a minimum of research and you'll see.
@Witchlord

@@atracura9554 They may close just due to the stupidity of those running the company. They completely fucked over all the people on youtube that created fan fiction, they charge egregiously high prices for their product, and from what ive heard from people that worked there, they dont exactly treat their employees very well. Add to that the insane amounts of rule supplements you have to by to be able to play in tournaments, it seems like they are just asking to get fucked over. They wont even allow game producers to license the ultramarines unless they are certain the game will sell well. GW is the perfect model of "we are going to control so much of our IP we are going to shoot ourselves in the foot with an overpowered plasma pistol." I had high hopes that a movie would get made, but now I dont want it since the way GW operates will make it a steaming pile of shit. I still buy their stuff because i dont believe in stealing, but I also have a lot of ideas about how i want my army to look so when I get a 3d printer I will certainly mix a lot of my custom ideas into my battle force.

I was literally looking at the channel yesterday to see if you'd posted anything and I'd missed it. Good to see a new video, and congrats on the move! Can't wait to see more progress on the titan!
Oh super useful to get the scale of this thing!
As we say in England; Took ya fookin time mate. Was looking forward to this. Great to see it's still happening. God's speed young sir.
I know nothing about Warhammer but I'll keep watching for this because it's just so damn cool
i know you've said how you have no delusions about actually using the titan in a game, but as far as I know there are actually dedicated titan groups you can join who do actually try and have games with their massive legions
Thank you. Glad you bought those, l often don't get something ,and regret it later. You inspired my son , at a garage sale we had seen and bought a 3 foot Voltron , with a lot of garage sale tank models , of all scales. Dumpster diving and dollar (fifty), store purchases ... we are plodding along after church every Sunday for 3 hours. l insisted we made a blueprint ... ( when we are done l will have a copy of the blueprints framed for the hobby room. Thank you for the updates , they are informative and inspiring. Congrats on the move , be safe ,be well.
The epic battle that left only a scratch on the right leg
You should try fiberglass to harden up the foam you can get it in sheets lay it over and then paint on the resin. Just a suggestion
Brother I bought some plant pots in honour of you hopefully they become a Titan one day 😂
You totally can't convince me that you didn't buy the little guy that stuffy because it looked like a squiggoth . . . Using the Royal York for scale is a genius move.
Eric is my hobby hero

Are you going to make the titan have storage, dice tray shoulders, and so forth? Or will it all be scenes?
YES
Yes! To all of it, this is glorious
Nice to see a new video. And I'm happy für you being with your family again. I enjoy your videos very much. they brought me back to 40k, finishing my old stuff, make terrain and play 3rd edition with my closest friends. Thank you for your great content! Best wishes from Germany ❤
Amazing, inspiring project! I know it must be hard not to feel time pressure as a content creator, but I do hope you'll give this build all the time it richly deserves so you can really detail the crap out of it :) I very much doubt people will get bored even if it ends up spanning many videos.
0:07 OK, I just found my new "listen here you little shit" meme template
We don't know each other, but I am also a canuck who lived abroad for a few years. Welcome home. And a tip from theatre set world: you can protect foam with cheap bed sheets from the thrift store painted on with PVA. It is poor man's fiberglass.
I cannot praise this enough. The ambition of the project is unbelievable and it already looks amazing. I can't wait to see the final model.
Eric is now homeless after buying two titans in one trip lol
Thought you bailed. This is the best thing about warhammer on KZread right now in my opinion.
I wish I would have seen you at Adeptacon! Cheering you on to complete this project! You are an inspiration.
Very cool!! Welcome home!! I’m so excited by your progress and the extra titans! Can’t wait to see more! Cheers!
the most exciting series im following now, cant wait for more episodes and eventually the final project!
yep that is the right size for this thing some people have ideas to do a mech set up and walk in the knight
That scale representation was very illuminating... God, sometimes I forget the scale of these things.
slammed the like button with my face as soon as i clicked on the video. CANT WAIT FOR THE NEXT PART
Glad to see you back up and moving forward with this Titan 👍 I’m particularly interested to see how you are going to break it down to be able to play different games on each level. I have an idea in my mind about how the scaffolding will work but I’m sure you’re going to give more details in the future. Waiting with baited breath on the outcome of this project 🤙
Don’t even wanna know what you spent on those forge world, two titans! Emperor have mercy!
Congratulations on your moving back to Canada. A Titan Legion led by an Imperator sounds like a collector's wet dream.
I was so waiting for this update, thanks.
Welcome home, eh! Super excited to see this project continue to evolve.
I just love the idea of having a battlefield on top of a titan. It must have an awesome ambience to it

Missed your videos great work here !
Putting the titan in the city for comparison has got to be one the coolest things I've seen. Great video!
Great to see you back again. Looking forward to seeing all your titans come together.
Great progress in this video, so glad we got to see how far you’ve come in all this time.
Awesome to hear your move has gone well and you're back near family Eric. Really looks great so far and I'm excited to see your progress!
Im delighted your channel has grown so much dude.
Congrats on the move! It's great you are able to get more space for gaming, family and all that!
I mean the scope of this is even more insane now but all of this sounds like it's going to be great! Looking forward for videos on every stage of this!
Awesome!!! Ready for the next one!! Thanks dude!
"In the news today...A young man bought two resin Forge World Titans. He was later found in an ice filled bath tub with a receipt for the kidney he sold to afford them." I mean...sheesh! Amusingly, he could probably use them for tax deductions as "Business expenses".
The scope of this project is awesome.
From 2018 until 2020 I pushed my dinky old FDM printer to its limits and printed (and painted) a warlord titan (I think its size is 80% of an original). I'm not a GW tabletop player or anything and it was more of pushing myself and my printer to see what would even be possible but it's so much fun to spend to much time on a single object! I totally get why creating dioramas are so much fun.
I'm so excited to see the next video. 40k heraldry is such a cool topic.
Awww yiss. Love these updates
immense update! but also just to say the minis you built + painted are looking amazing too, they'll really bring this titan to life
Good to see you back!
I love the scale of the titan, and how it feels old-school kaiju sized. Great work do fast eric!
Been waiting for this!

Glad to hear you're back in Canada, canuckbro 👍

i've only really gotten into warhammer lore and figs, this is insane and i love it! wish the best for you in the future aswell as everyone reading this
love seeing you progress dude
Impressive, most impressive. There's been a dude over on Bolter & Chainsword scratch-building an Imperator from plasti-card and PVC pipe for about 4 years.
the legion grows! can't wait to see more.
I love all the non-combatant support characters you've got for this. Can't wait to see it come together.
Glad the move has gone well - always a bit of an upheaval, never mind crossing borders. Good luck with everything.
looks awesome, cant wait until the next ep
I love the desicion to make the titan and its hanger into a game board, that sound awesome!
I just finished building my chaos warhound titan! What perfect timing.
Hey Eric, your channel has inspired me greatly! as a kid who loves WH, building terrain out of literal trash alongside your videos is AWSOME. Anyways I love how you went from trash to titans! (I couldn't resist the alliteration) Cheers
lets go i was waiting for so long for this
This is looking sick, love the scope of the project.
It would be awesome to field some armies fighting atop the titan with special rules that simulate the Imperator's movement, like every few turns units must make a LD save or be immobilized for the turn due to having to hold on as the Imperator takes a lumbering step!
Great video. Looking forward to seeing it progress
Those mold lines and that bloody flashing on the reaver, holy moly
I love titans I love building. I can’t what to see when your done.
Oh hey! That looks like my offcast titans.
That shirt design is super cool!
Reminds me of the fantastic fan animation for Hellsreach seeing Stormherald in all its glory as it marched through the city making you understand the confidence of Mistress Zarha in believing she was invincible against the insignificant Orks
Really loving this build buddy nice one
Back in Canada, nice! Ottawa native here.
Welcome back to Canada my dude!!
YES! It's about time another episode of this landed. ✨ I'm also glad to hear you've returned to your homeland and are closer to family with the start of your own family, and it means extra support to help EHW continue to do what you do too (I knew there was some "oot" in your "about".) ☺ _"About time" based entirely on the fact that it's been a while since i saw the last one and I wanna see another one!_ 🤩
