When I was a kid, my local Games Workshop held an Easter event where everyone on the board was fighting against a single Imperator class titan. The Imperator titan was represented by 2 chocolate tins, and whenever we did damage to the 'titan' we could open the tin and munch a piece of chocolate :P

My local game club had an apocalypse event once. Multiple tables fighting at once, in a big room, and the biggest guns, could hit other tables and stuff. Some times judges had to go and inform a player, that his army was gon, due to something hapening two tables away 😂😂 It wasn't a super serious event, so everybody had a good time

Damn, you've managed to keep it still looking like a "miniature" despite it being 7 feet tall! that really goes to show that craftsmanship at work. Love the idea of it being more of an architectural piece. Amazing stuff!
Ah, yes. 40,000 PTS worth "miniature" model. Truly superb work, Ave Imperator and you!
I think this is the ideal scale Imperator. It's actually big enough to fit a platoon inside the legs, and a congregation inside the church backpack. The head is even big enough for multiple command decks!
@EricsHobbyWorkshop
Жыл бұрын
Exactly! The bridge needs to be big enough for lots of people to walk around in multiple levels
@kennethfharkin
Жыл бұрын
@@EricsHobbyWorkshop For scale I like to think back to the days playing Epic and Titan Legions. We had a three way Imperial / Eldar force fighting a huge Chaos force. Angron boarded the Imperator and began fighting his way up clearing the levels below him. In old Epic this could be done (haven't played any newer editions). Next the Eldar piled into the Imperator and began chasing Angron to the top. It became a race of could Angron kill off all the Imperials on board before the Eldar could reach him and stop him. Those were some great gaming days and I am fairly certain that was one where we saw the sun rise when we finished. This model is big enough you could set up boards dedicated to different levels to fight your way through it.
Eric, surely you are 5'11", not 4'11" 😅👍

Holly shit mate, this wil be absolutely awesome 👏 🤟
Damn, this brings me back. At the height of Forge World, before GW cancelled pretty much the whole thing, this hobby really seemed like a world where anything was possible. The battles were just going to get bigger and bigger, and we could all take part. There was even a forum or two exclusively for people who had Titans of their own, whether the as-new Warhounds from Forge World, or scratch-built themselves. I love this.
The omnissiah smiles at your dedication
At the last seconds you look so happy Eric. The joy of seeing a project getting the shape you wanted it to have is such an amazing feeling. So happy for you
Truly, I can feel the strength of the Titans Machine Spirit through this vox recording
I love watching you learn and teach new techniques at the same time. Very inspiring!
Omg, this power and might! Everyone is stunned when it's in the room! Nobody wants to say one bad thing about the emperor. And then there is the titan, which is also pretty impressive
This is gonna be worth it for part 2
by far my favorite series on this channel, cant wait to see the final product
Excellent work. Can’t wait to see the final version.
you really nailed it with the size of this thing. Alot of the forge world titans seem to clearly have leaned on the smaller end of the spectrum for their models, presumably because of the practical limitations of massive resin kits, but this is the only imperator atempt I've ever seen that actually matches the art and whats described in the books
So happy to see you’re still on this project! Also, the difference is plastics ultimately come down to where they get thrown when you’re done; the recycling or the trash.
This is mind blowing to see ! Thank you for taking us on this journey , I can’t wait to see the final result!
The pure look of pride and joy you have is what makes the video perfect !!
