Tissue by Imtiaz Dharker | Top grade analysis
In this video, I give a detailed analysis of Imtiaz Dharker's poem 'Tissue', covering all aspects including context, language, structure and form. All interpretation is, of course, subjective, so this analysis represents my unique response to the poem, and is not at all definitive. Sonic, not sonnet, syncopation. Apologies if it wasn't clear. By "sonic syncopation", I'm really just referring to the mishmash of rhythms in the poem.
