    idk if this is a weird interpretation but could you say at the end of the poem where he has the sibilance of sands stretch/ lone and level bit, he's speaking in hushed, quiet tones out of shame? hes talking big and saying hes the king of kings but ozys current state is beyond pitiful and weak. maybe this is done to highlight the power of nature, how its also able to humble man and take away their human power with the simple passage of time?

    Great interpretation - it's not weird at all! In fact, anything you can substantiate with textual evidence is valid - as long as you can explain it.

    I won't be able to make an entire YT video just on an Eduqas poem unless it's a widely studied one, but if there's a poet you're studying that's canonical (e.g. Keats, Plath) then perhaps I'll consider doing a video on more of their poems in the future!
