Good tutorial. I bet this helps lot of folks. I'd like someone to make video of white lettering with airbrush. It's not the fastest way, but I think it's the sharpest. First paint the sidewall white, then clear it for protection. Then your preferred tyre black. Then carefully sand the letters revealing the white underneath. This method works great with different tyre materials.

Cool tutorial. I've seen someone using a credit card instead of the stick. Those tires look like the tires they recalled during the whole Ford / Firestone thing. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the great information! I had never thought about adding white lettering to my tires this way and it seems a lot easier than just trying to do it with the gel pen alone. I'm going to give this a try! Thanks again!

That's a nice idea. I have tried the eraser method, but not happy with the results. I found using the gel pen itself works fairly well for me.
