Curious what barrel you are using, and thoughts?

Hi! This is a Focus barrel from Corbin Clarinet Products. It really helped bring some life back to my older R13! They’re designed to pair with older instruments to bring the sound into “focus.” It did this and more in my case. Definitely recommend checking them out if you have the opportunity.

hi!! ok so I've been playing clarinet for about 7 years now, and since I've learned to play the altissimo register, I always play like an ahh-- whenever I try the eeeee tongue method, it always messes up the note and makes it sloppy. Any ideas why? Am I doing something wrong?

Hey! It sounds like the way you're using is working for you, which is great! There are a lot of reasons that you're losing control of the notes... could be that you're biting too much, or making an embouchure change along with the tongue position. Hope this helps!
