Can you suggest any online medical coding programs? Or ones to stay away from? And will your program prepare me well specifically for the CPMA exam? And is the CPMA exam disability friendly?

I’m currently studying for this certification. My work is actually requiring it. Take my test in July!

Hi Alfredo! The CPMA course offering is fairly new and so far the 20 enrolled students have not yet taken their exam, so there is no current data to provide on pass rates. I can say, comparatively, that those who took my CRC course and passed for the exam have all passed, so that course has a 100% pass rate.

Any tips for taking the current CPMA exam? I still have the 2021 practice exams, should I get the current one?

How can I purchase your course?

I'm having 2 years of experience in E/M outpatient coding. Can I do CPMA with this much of experience and does it helpful to my career ? Kindly your comments on this please.

Anyone can sit for the CPMA. However, some employers will still require you to have a certain number of years experiences prior to hiring you into the role.

AHIMA does require you to go through a program that's accredited with them for the RHIT. They have the search directory of accredited programs here: www.cahiim.org/programs/program-directory AAPC is different and does not require accredited programs for any of their credentials.

Technically no, but you would need experience in coding to become an auditor. It's an advanced understanding of medical coding, so it would be skipping a HUGE step to go right into auditing.
