What a coincidence; and fantastic timing! My first clutch is at 54 days and I was literally thinking this morning about searching for a video like this to double/triple check to make sure I know what to do and how to do it. Then I get your notification. Hahaha! Thanks for this video, freaking perfect!

This was very educational, not new to BP’s but new to breeding. So when I get to this stage, I will 😮have a lot more confidence in what I’m doing. Thanks again.

Great video...what are some het pied markers that show up in Clown het Pieds?
That intro was 🔥
Fantastic informative video guys. I particularly like the tip about not needing to put in a water dish until after first shed as that was something I’ve always wondered about and so put one in to be sure but will leave that now. Really pleased you hit a grail and some nice het pied markers on several as well. 👍

I check the edges of anything that will be in with my animals. I melt plastic edges with a lighter so it's soft and won't hurt them. So sad that you had babies cut themselves and die! These babies are so beautiful 😍

Great information!!!
Yeah! I love how snakes all live in plastic boxes, its just like their natural habitat. I also love how all these animals are just commodities. Like biscuits or bananas. And sold with crazy names. Like " zig zag pie pald pink chicken zoopla clown !" Never ever called animals.
I hat when one creator cuts the egg gets excited about the baby and just rips it out of the egg

I don't agree with pulling them out of the egg at all. I leave them in the egg until they absorb all the yolk and come out on their own.

No problem 👍
cutting the veins after opening them wont matter. the veins are they to supply oxygen to the baby snake. after its opened, thats done. and its my theory that once they breathe oxygen, they begin absorbing their yolk sack.
@turkeysandwich421

I tend to agree with that normally I see the fastest yolk absorption after they pip or I cut usually it's less than 5 days at the most that they're fully absorbed and out typically right around 3 days
Could yall do a video on the best smaller incubators? I'm only going to have 2 to 5 clutches so don't need anything crazy but still want quality
Hi Billy I really enjoyed this video about making a small slit in the eggs, then making a large widow, so you can get a better look at the baby snakes to tell what type of snake that they are by their color, and scale pattern.❤🐍Cindy

Thanks so much
It's funny that you mention that cuz I usually don't sex until after they have their first shed I've also noticed as soon as the first come out it kind of spurs the other ones to venture out a little quicker. Typically as soon as all the snakes are out I give them a good wipe down and throw them in another tub on paper towel and leave them in the incubator until they have their first shed then they go into my tubs And that's been a great way that's worked for me I've actually never lost a hatchling in the four and a half years I've been hatching snakes hopefully I can keep that record going this year I got a lot of clutches on the way!!
Thanks guys!
Did u put ventilation holes on the box?
Do you have a video on when to cut them and how to? Im new to this and dont want to loose any babies. TIA.
Do you need to poke holes or open the box for oxygen?
My hatchling will not eat. I will try to feed and no eating response. Should i wait longer to try to feed again? How long can a hatchling go without eating?
3-4 days? isit possible to separate?
Hoping to make my 1st dreamsicle this season. Visual pied het to a dbl het so fingers crossed.

Definitely doesn’t look like the normal or leopard!
After I cut I put my babies in another bin that’s sterile with the coco until their first shed.
Lavender is under rated in my opinion. They stay so nice as adults

I'm confused, how long after she lays the eggs should I then cut the eggs ? I have a clutch soon to come from a cinnamon. I'm a amature and trying to find as much info as possible before I make mistakes. She's currently at around 38 days since first lock and 8 days since her second lock.

💜💚💜💚💜
I cut my eggs the same as you do. I never bother to sex the animal until after its first shed, and right before I feed it. These little guys just arrived in the world, and need some time to get used to life outside of the egg. The less stress the better. I move the babies to their own tub with a hide and a water dish when I feed for the first time. Great informative video, and lovely clutch. (Jan Griffiths).
At least your not like that madman at prehistoric pets he just tares them out the eggs like an Idiot.
Why don’t you let them come out by themselves. Why do you cut the egg?
Ils seraient mieux dans la nature que dans des tiroirs maltraitance animal
