Hey, thanks for the helpful information. I appreciate it! Even though you posted these videos quite a while back, you still have people watching... You should put links in the description to all of the products you recommend. Companies like amazon will pay you commissions if people buy through your link. You deserve to make something for taking the time to help people out. You should look in to it (Affiliate Marketing). I really appreciate it. Thanks man

Do you recommend a card sleeve Penny sleeve when you put cards in a magnetic case

  • @Courtneyssportscards

No, not enough room to use a penny sleeve in a magnetic it could damage the card. Thanks

@@Courtneyssportscards I was just thinking the same question as well. I saw some people recommending to use a perfect fit sleeve inside the magnetic cases, but then others stating that perfect fit slaves can damage the cards. Do you have an opinion on perfect fit sleeves? Thanks

@@gregjones2472 sorry we have never carried perfect fit sleeves in our shop but you better be really good at loading cards into sleeves or you could easily clip a corner loading cards in unless the top corners are clipped off the sleeves. I personally am comfortable with magnetics with no sleeves as long as you use the proper thickness or you could have a problem with them moving around.

Great vids, big help for sure for anyone such as myself, just getting into collecting. I do have one other question....what would you recommend for a guy like me, that just wants to collect high dollar cards to put away for my children down the road? So many choices, do I go with sets, or am I better off with graded vintage cards? Just don't want to have a collection of worthless cardboard down the road to pass on to my children! Cheers!

Graded vintage cards are good. Any Superstars from the 50's and 60's with grades of 8 and above are a safe bet. That stuff is established. If you want to gamble more for a big profit you can speculate on the newer rookies but the safe bet is the retired HOF players with high grades. Of course if you run across a great deal on a vintage set that would be good also. Make sure the condition is good though.

Nice Video, thx. I am new in that hobby and collect Basketball cards. I am meaning that the card sleeves damage my cards minimal when i sleeve them, is that possible? Is there an specific technique? Best regards from Germany

Yes, if you are not careful putting them in you can damage the corners. Once you are used to doing it you would have no problems at all. You can cut the top corner on the sleeve if you are having trouble getting them in. Thanks

I have never really stored stickers before. The ones I do have are stored in a cardboard 5000 ct box in card sleeves.

Is there a listing anywhere from the card companies on the thickness(pt) of each card? Sometimes it's hard to tell exactly what thickness of toploader is needed from measuring it.

That's a tough one. Not anywhere that I know of. Basically you just kinda learn from trial and error. Most people that are not sure bring the type of card they have in to us and let us figure it out for them. Other people buy a couple of each size and then keep them on hand as they need them. That way they always have the right size on hand. I'm sure there is probably discussion boards somewhere that you can get the info from but sounds like a lot of time to find it. I'd rather have a couple different sizes on hand or use one I have a card in already to determine size.

+Patrick Russell Not that I know of. Most of my heavy collecting customers keep a few of each size on hand because you can get different sizes out of the same box. Thanks
