What helpful tip do YOU have when it comes to taking a baby/toddler to Disney? Do you have any questions on a topic I didn’t cover? ❤️

We are taking our then 9 month old in December of this year! I’ve been so nervous but so excited at the same time. Our family also has a normal Disney routine, and I am nervous about how things will change and how our baby girl Ella will adapt to her schedule changes. You have made me feel so much better already!

I know this is an old vid, but are there changing tables in the regular bathrooms? Also, what rides can I take the baby on?

I reflected on this recently, and I haven't taken a baby to Disney since 2015, but that trip was amazing because we had low (no?) expectations. We just went and were there. I think that as we add more "must dos" it drains some of the joy. Next trip my goal is to try to bring it back to that low expectations sort of feeling. - M

Adjusting expectations is huge 🙌🏼 And knowing in advance you’ll move at a slower pace is super helpful ☺️

Absolutely!!! Here are tips for flying with a baby: 1. Choose your flight time around your baby’s schedule if possible 2. Remember to have a copy of their birth certificate 3. During take off, breastfeed or have a bottle ready (we filled up a thermos with hot water after getting through security, that way we could mix her formula at any moment) 4. Have a couple new toys packed, that way your baby can play with something they’ve never seen before 5. The airplane restrooms have very small fold down changing tables (I had to change a very messy diaper on one 😅, but it’s possible!) 6. Try to only pack essentials in the diaper bag. Having TOO many things can make getting on and off the plane challenging

And here are my tips for staying in a hotel with your baby: 1. I like to have my baby in a separate sleeping space. So whether that’s a closet or the bathroom, make sure to choose a hotel that accommodates that separate space 2. Bring a sound machine! 3. Once your baby is sleeping, either sit outside on the balcony with the monitor, or watch a movie in bed with headphones 😊 4. Bring your own crib sheet for the hotel pack n play. 5. If a separate sleeping area isn’t possible, find a way to hang a blanket so your baby can’t see you, and feels like they’re in a separate room

I don’t have kids yet, but I do think about this sometimes! Did you drive or fly? Either way, I’m wondering how the travel was.
