Jen, I just want to thank you for being so open and vulnerable in such a public way. Growing up, I was taught (like so many of us who are 30+) to bottle up my feelings, etc. And there was so much stigma around mental health and therapy. And so it took me a long time to recognize what was happening with me. And had I had more role models, like you, who are just their authentic self, not afraid to show their emotions in a healthy and positive way... I think things would have been a lot different growing up. So thank you. Having followed you guys for a long time now, I'm just so happy to see the journey you guys have been on and where life is taking you.

The way you look at her so lovingly whenever she has something to add and you never cut her off when she is talking about her experience with pregnancy and birth. You can tell how much you respect her as a mom and as a woman who has gone through a pregnancy and is going through another one now!! I loved the vibes, amazing all around! Congratulations guys!!❤️❤️

Hands down, “why did you eat the baby?” Is my new favorite way to react to someone telling me they’re pregnant!! Jackson is the cutest! Gonna be a great big brother!

My mum had me at 39 too! Despite all the "geriatric" concerns I was a healthy baby and I've loved having such a wise, kind mum. I know your children will feel the same, you are both so amazing and I'm so happy for you ❤

My wife and I were tying for about 6 moths and it wasn’t happening. So we decided to stop trying and book a trip to Japan. Needless to say we never went to Japan and now we have a 6 year old.

My mom also passed at 39. I went through similar feelings when I was 39. I celebrated the heck out of 40... God's blessings!

I love how curious and supportive Jackson is about his new sibling; I also love how you explained the pregnancy to him. Still, it was laugh out loud funny when he asked "why did you eat that baby?" He's going to be learning so much during these next 8 to 9 months.

I'm child free so I don't normally care about pregnancy announcements outside of my niece and nephew. But I was truly excited when you announced your first pregnancy and enjoyed following along with your journey. And I'm so excited for this one. You two are truly wonderful people and wonderful parents. And your baby is truly blessed to have such a loving family to be born into.

If you move Jackson, do it earlier in the pregnancy and make it a big deal about promoting him to a big boy room. It helps keeping him feel displaced. With my oldest, referring to our baby and letting my son be part of the process helped him be so excited to take care of our second. He was such a helper. And he and his sister are super close.

This may sound weird since you are „people on the internet“ and we never even met, but I love you guys so much. Oh Jen, I know how you feel. My mom was diagnosed with cancer when she was 37 and my sister died at 38 and I just turned 37. I’m thankful healthy, knock on wood, and I understand that fear.. that’s the beauty that just cuz it happens to our family doesn’t mean it will happen to us. Stay healthy 💕

Jenn, I’m so happy for you, Tim and Jackson. My dad passed away when he was 62 and my mom when she was 69. I am 53 so I know I will feel the same way as I get closer. We tried for so many years for our second baby and he was actually born on the day that my dad had passed away, many years prior so his birthday, July 8 is special to us for all of the reasons that you are grieving and happy at the same time. Wishing you much love and a comfortable and successful second pregnancy!

Congratulations!!!! Big hug Jen, my mom passed at 52 from MS and I also felt the doom and gloom. Happy to say I got through it and am now a happy, healthy 65!

First time I’ve been excited about a ‘stranger’ having another baby. I went through infertility prior to both my children being born so this really hits home for me. My kids are 13 yrs apart and worth the wait. Congrats!

Jen! I lost my Mom at 18. She was 45 and I could never see my life after the age she passed away. It happens so often when your Mother is gone. I’m now 59 and every day is a huge blessing. Girl I love you!

Same here. I lost my mom when I was 20. She was 53. I'm 51 now, so I'm close to her age when she passed. It does weigh on your mind.

I’ve been in an accelerated nursing program for the last year while still trying to manage a life with my husband and 5 kids so today was the first video I’ve watched in a year. Jenn mentioned “the announcement” and craving pizza so I had to come find this video. I’m so happy for you guys and so glad I decided to come watch your channel now when I’m so stressed out to share in your joy.

Congratulations! So happy for you.!! After watching this vlog the next vlog started playing and it was where Jackson is born. I had tears, Jenn was so brave and handled the pain and her complication amazingly with such grace and Tim was such a good husband. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful moment in your life. I've been traveling for work and waited all week to get to sit down and watch. I didn't think it could get any better than the already great news, but it did! I laughed, I cried, I laughed again... So excited to watch your journey and definitely can't wait to see some baby/Jackson's room update vlogs! I understand what you're feeling! My mother passed away when she was 29, and I always had this thought that I wouldn't outlive her. But my first baby was born the year I turned 29, and then I was able to let go of those feelings. Congrats to all of you!

Congratulations! My son was Jackson’s age when we got pregnant with our second. This book was a wonderful, interactive book about babies. He loved it! I gift it to all big brothers and sisters now. It is Snuggle the Baby by Sara Gillingham. So cute!

Congratulations! Your mum will be so proud. My grandma passed before I met her at 36, and I am now 36. It’s sad, but my mum is still with us and watched me and my sister grow. As for sickness, I have a boy and girl. I was sick with both, but more so with my girl. It was not fun!

Beyond excited for you two. You are both wonderful parents, and we can’t wait to watch your family continue to blossom.
