I appreciate that you color and die cut many pieces and save them to use as needed for cards. Sometimes I feel that I have to finish a card in one setting. I’ve started saving the pieces for when inspiration or necessity strikes.

These flowers are so delightful! Altenew really has made some great kits to create with in these. I loved the watercolors blue background and that rather simple card design with the lilac ink you created….purples are always my favorites. Gosh.... These cards turned out so beautiful!! I love the embossed little flowers you showed up close. What an impact that embossing folder made. I also loved the magical purple color you got when blending over the ink (somewhat) stained stencil. These products are simply awesome!! And omg, I love the Japanese Anemone bundle you showed. That one, ohh I just want it so badly. I think I will use it all the time. Anemone's were my dad's favorite flowers 😘

Lovely idea to use the colors in the stencil and blend all colors together. I expected that you would spray the stencil with water and smoosh the ink on a piece of cardstock 😃😍

Oh, Jennifer, you are such an enabler😂 I had stopped all my subscriptions to monthly kits a couple of years ago due mostly to limited space, but this Altenew Kit is a WOW, and so versatile! I had to sign up for it.

I love that you do not want to waste your ink. I see so many people that just rub it off on paper and I think we’re paying for that Ink-why squander it? I have a friend who also does KZread stamping and she sometimes,with juicy ink pads, will put a clear block in there and take the ink off the clear block instead of the ink pad itself. that also dilutes the color so you don’t waste as much. That’s a good idea to put the excess in the lid so you can keep using it. I usually put it on a glass mat or something that I can take the ink back off again real quick.

I love your finished cards but the image at 16:26 gave me an interesting idea. What if you did this card but didn't cut off the overhanging floral piece? I think you'd have to make it a little less offset and have both pieces in a smaller size so they'd fit in an envelope but I think it could be a cute idea. Does anyone with the card making skills want to test my theory and let me know?

Your cards are beautiful and lots of great tips. I got brave and decided to cut up a stencil the other day and accidentally got too close to an opening and ruined it. 😢

Quick question. In this video there is a shot of little slider zip lock bags where you leep extra die cut flowers. May i ask which one you use? I'm looking for something similar that are thick and strong. Love love your videos. They help me more than you'll ever know!

Not anymore. Things changed.

I just have to add that blue in the last card, screams to me. I have so many brands of inks in shades if blue. It doesn't bother me in the slightest to color a bird or flower in a shade of blue.
