If the organization that I’m interested in isn’t having anymore events how can I show interest ? Many people are saying to message them on social media but that isn’t discrete to me

Hi, if this is for an undergrad there still should be events going on. Even with my graduate chapter we’re hosting a lot of virtual events. I think it would be best to find a member that’s already in the chapter and try to build a connection (even if you have to dm them). Message me on IG! For my more questions

Hi, I’m interested in joining a D9 organization and have been attending events and participating during events. Is it bad if I’m not able to attend all events or miss 1-2 events? Or should I be attending every single event the chapter holds?

Hi! It’s totally ok to not attend every single event. Continue to focus on balancing your education first. Those who are in the fraternity/sorority should become familiar with the most common faces at their event. Remember it’s important to also build 101 connections so they can put a name to your face. ☺️ GOOD LUCK!

@@MissGorgeousChic Thank you so much for answering my question. I was definitely nervous about missing an event. They had a lot of events this week that I have attended, but they were gonna host one tomorrow night and I have work to do. So I was just hesitant about missing an event. I have definitely been trying to make sure that I talk/participate at the virtual events and also talk to the members at in-person events and tell them thank you for answering my questions and made sure to introduce myself. Overall, I have definitely been trying to make connections. I just sometimes feel so overwhelmed by the amount of the other women at the events and the popularity that some of them have. But I know that as long as I try to be myself and put my best foot forward then I should have a chance and all I can do is try again. Thank you again! I really appreciate it 💕💕

So I’m thinking about joining a fraternity and I’ve been to every event except 1 I’ve spent money to support the organization I’m involved with a campus organization I’m over the gpa requirement but idk if I will be blacklisted if I were to go to a member of the organization

Hii!! In my opinion you will not be “blacklisted” by communicating to a member in the fraternity that you are interested. We actually welcome you to introduce yourself to us so we can get to know you and what you can bring to the organization. Also by attending numerous of events we know that you are a potential prospect and we loveeee that you are active in attending our events, active on campus, and value your education with a high GPA!
