I recommend the channel called China Country Life. They use ALOT of green onion tips, mixed with chicken or pork sausage meat and then put the stuffing mixture into bao buns. Or any other Asian cooking channel might help. They look really delicious. But like you asked they do dehydrate very well. With freezing they make have to be blanched first.

Then they will need to be planted in some type of soil in a garden bed, bucket or raised bed. Onions are " heavy feeders " and need good nutrients to grow😊 And also a few months growing time. They will also to my knowledge be a different type of onion from the start. You can buy little onion sets that help get you started.

Dialogue would really help. Not everything is clear! How many holes and why? How much water in white containers. Does water touch bottom of clear container? Really dislike like no dialogue. Would really like to try this with more info.

I wanted to know the same thing about the water level so I replayed several times. It looks like the water is almost to the top of the coco-peat?? Probably keep the water at that level? I think these are what the Americans call scallion onions? Maybe look up how to grow Scallion onions on YT. Maybe that will help. Someone above suggested to watch a channel called China Country life. Evidently they use these onion tips alot. Im going to watch that channel to see if I can get some hints on how to grow these.

You see the water roots came through the holes on the sides,,use as green onions or in anything you want onions in...put back in after trimming what you need...

Those are chives, not onions. Plant once in your yard and you'll never need to plant again. Hardiest perennial ever.

Don't use these ideas in Europe because it's a waste of time and money, he's from Vietnam, it's warm there, so everything grows nicely for him.
