For best use of the in game quick builder, for most units, not all, I manually select a weapon or weapons, depending on the unit, then I manually select a VC based on the weapon. After that I use the in game auto build function to set only head, body & both accessories. Then I go to ability & auto build a single slot at a time until main stats are maxed. After this, with the remaining slots, I use filters to sort for killers or LB damage up, EVO damage up or what ever. Makes a quick job of it & gets much better results than just simply auto building all slots at once. PS: The best advice a new player can get is: patience pays.

@@mysidia Its no where as good as the ffbequip site, but if you figure out its quirks, its useful for a couple little short cuts when suitting out your units.

Thank you for this video alot of them just tell you what to put on who but not really why or what to be looking for when hearing units. This was very helpful and was the breakthrough I needed.

I'll be honest I'm a returning causal player and I don't understand 90% of the terminology, for example, killers, TDW, TDH, Variance and so on .. other than that very formal and informatic video. I just don't understand alone of it :(

Hey that's fair, it's a LOT of info. Tbh to truly understand killers and variance you need to understand the math of the damage equation that I show at the beginning. However, if I can simplify it this might help: Killers: Help you do more damage against bosses of certain races. Stack them up to 300% to do more damage. They are very important in terms of priority of building them on a unit. Variance: Weapons don't do the same damage every time you use an attack. Sometimes they do more, sometimes they do less. Two handed weapons have a bigger variance than one-handed. Meaning that sometimes 2-H weapons will do a LOT more damage and sometimes they won't. 1-H weapons don't have that random high potential so people don't use them as much. TDH: True Double Hand. It's a fancy way of saying use two-handed weapons and get bonuses. TDW: True Dual Wield. Fancy way of saying use two one-handed weapons to get bonuses. Right now the bonuses of TDH outweigh TDW, so people use all two-handed weapons and no dual wielding. However, that will change a bit with the patch this week. I wouldn't worry about it too much though. Most important thing is to just ease back into the game and learn things slowly!

I'm a new player, still lot to learn. What is SPR , equipment TDH, TDW, I search on Google most player say it better buy or to farm items for awakening unit at world instead of vortex. Which place I should farm . And where to get brave insignia ?

Is there a way to check chain boost limit on the stat screen? Like oh I can see I hit the goal of 6x right here?

Unfortunately not, but the rule of thumb is that dual wielding units already have the 6x cap and doublehanded users have a 5x cap and need a boost from equipment/materia. You can confirm in a units passive skills which chain cap boost they have

Unfortunately no. This guide is relevant to the Neo Vision meta 🙁 Cloud is an older unit and he doesn't have chain boosts, so he'll need help from the STMR or another source.

@@amanikatanta6276 Yeah it's like that. Older units are just a full power level or more below the current NV units. You can use them for some content but other content will be too difficult.

I imperil, imbue, break, boost and still do 1% damage. Then next boss I think 'F-it' and do none of that, and I OTK them. This game makes no sense to me.
