I’ve been stamping for over 12 years and never thought of making the different sizes of card stock for a reference. I’m headed to my craft room right now to do that!! So simple, but so useful. Thanks for the tip!

I am so happy someone decided to make this series. It is very basic, which helps so much. Size of cards is the 1 thing that I struggle with most. Your "sample" system is such an obvious solution, but I never thought of it, which makes it genius ☺️. Thank you for this resource. I actually learned more than I thought I would.

I am printing your tips from your website and starting a notebook for this series. Very exciting. Just thought of another idea. How to cut DSP when you need the design to go a certain way. Just like my driving I have no sense of direction. Difficult to visualize on the paper trimmer which way my paper will look after I cut. LOL Kathy

My fav tip from this video was keeping the guide sizes ready to figure out quickly what suits your idea. From this, the next step would be that once a design has been decided ( mass production), just cut all the sizes and keep ready for quick assembly. Thank you so much Karen. Just chanced upon your channel.... Happy New Year and all the very best.

question for future videos…attaching vellum to card without adhesive being seen. I know to hide the glue dot or stampin seal behind but I saw this advertised as tape that won’t show: Plus Corporation Glue Tape TG-610BC-VE - Vellum Adhesive, Problem is it is difficult to find in stock. What else could I use ? Is there another adhesive just for vellum? (I did buy uktra thin dots by Glue Dots. ) thanks Kathy

Hello Karen - I'm a "nearly newbie" in that I've made about 20 or 30 cards, and I do like to watch video tutorials to learn new things. I found you mat and layering guide a great idea and have downloaded it, and will use it in future cards. The one thing I've not heard many card makers mention is the insert. Here in the UK, I and a few friends like to use inserts for the verses, and to sign on. Not many videos show how to do the inserts, whether pre-printed on the computer, or plain to stamp on - but one thing I can't work out is where to put an insert on shaped or awkward cards, like gatefold cards, or easel cards. Can you help? I've subscribed too...thank you so much for being so helpful.

I appreciate your comment - I need to remember to talk about where to put the writing on those kinds of cards. On many cards like easel cards, I add a white piece on the back and put the writing there.
