About the pre orders... If you like me and don't like to wait 2 3 or 4 yrs for something to come out and gets delayed... I would just buy parts of the figure once it's out...such as a complete body costume with no head or buy the head only and rest of the body later...if you compare buying for instance a diecast mark 7 without the head and no extra parts it could range about 300 where you could get the head about 100 150 or so.... you probably pay 400 which is the regular price it came when 1st release whereas if you buy complete it would be 8 to 1200 now...it also depends how popular the character... Buy a Marty McFly' head could range 20 to 150 on the head and the body with clothes could be about 100 or so... So the figure may cost 250 in total compare to aftermarket prices of 400 600 dollars so you still be getting the normal price the original came out. Again it's depends on how popular the character is... A mark 7 would cost 8 to 1200 whereas a James bond could cost 80 to 200 maybe depending on the quality of the figure.

I use the same faux leather material conditioner. Never had an issue. Actually ones i bought used like the Crow or DX13 pleather looks darker and is softer after conditioner use than when i bought them. Great video. I remember trying to find this stuff out when i first started and it was difficult

Great video. I noticed with the Predators series the figures are very prone to wear. The harness for Tracker's hound is very bad to the point where it almost disintegrates. Its put me off buying it. I wanted to buy all three game reserve predators but Berserker and Falconer seem to have problems also. I just hope my Heavy Weaponry Wolf doesnt have any problems.

We did a video not too long ago called “New IKEA Detolf Display Cases” where I briefly talk about it. It’s basically just black fabric from a hobby store that was cut to size and hung up using double sided gorilla tape. It doesn’t lay the flattest on the shelf and I’ve since taken those out, but some people use construction paper for that. Hope this helps!

Just another tip to keep in mind... THE BOXES TAKE UP LARGE SPACE IN YOUR HOME. Our 3rd bedroom is filled with only Hot Toys Boxes. The boxes take up waaaay more room than the figures do. So if you are going to start collecting...make sure you have plenty of room for the large boxes the figures come in with. Lol. 😁

Hi your video is very Imformative about Hot Toys figures, since I got my Star Lord GOTG Vol. 2 I get worried that the pleather will deteriorate overtime, I don't know how to take of the suit before and I got it as used so the suit is kinda old. Sames as my Wanda from AOU. Love then both but they're not that durable 😢 so I'm thinking to get a Die Cast Iron Man next time...what is the downside of the die-cast? New subscriber here... Cheers! 🎊

Only downside to diecast is that they are heavy lol. If you use detolf cabinets you don’t want to put too much weight on each shelf. Also the joints may become loose over time with the weight, but I did a video on how to fix that!

That's for leather...but what about fake leather (pleather) I had something like what you had and use it and it just came off. Another option just buy some extras jackets if you can find better quality 1/6 jackets...it's kinda weird I have Terminator from both movies,. The police shootout Terminator were in storage for years took them out and both jackets completely destroyed flaked all over....my t2 version also in storage and completely fine...very weird.

Faux Leather is artificial leather aka Pleather, so this product is made for it. I have also looked for replacement parts, but some are very expensive and could have the same problems down the road. So far this product has worked well for my figures. No signs of deterioration.

I use a woman’s eye make-up soft brush for applying the pleather treatment and another for brushing the dust away. It’s the eye make-up brush that women use for the eyelids. It’s very soft and small. I also use a facial make-up larger brush for the dust on the figures.

I had this issue with Hot Toys John Wick. The belt is made of a bad quality leather. After two months, it cracked. It is totally useless. I contacted Hot Toys, to get a replacement. I was willing to pay for that. Their customer services sucked. Considering the high cost, they could use a better material. A normal leather jacket or sneaker don't peel as Hot Toys accessories. And I live in Brazil, which is the most corrupt country in the world. Here, a regular Hot Toys (250 dollars) costs 600 dollars. That is why I am leaving the hobby. ThreeZero gets to produce really elaborated figures for 150 dollars. Hope they get more licenses in the funture. But, in the current state of affairs, 1/6 action figures became a luxury market.
