This video had more tension than most Marvel movies. I was dying to know how you were going to make that pipe fit in the short space. Using a heat gun is brilliant. I have to do something similar with 1/2" Schedule 40 PVC. I'll test it beforehand to make sure it works, but I'm excited to see the results. Thanks!

This only works on small diameter pipes, say up to 1". I tried this on a 3" dia pipe and the results were disastrous. The 3" pipe simply wouldn't bend that much to allow you to make this repair, even after completely softening it with a heat gun.

No u need a 4inch pvc elbow that needs to be glued in using pvc glue
