Its the basic ground work to change output pressures you just have to be careful when initially testing and fill bottles only to 1000-1200psi.

Excellent lesson on how to increase the output, and what not to do, like making sure any added washers to increase the pressure, do not go past the o'rings. I've never messed with adjusting a tanks output and always wondered how to do it. Could I ask, you said that the burst disc is something you shouldn't mess with. I recently bought a FS 15ci 4.5k tank for sale. But it was slowly leaking out the 7.5k burst disc and was told to tighten the disc. Since you said not to be messing with the disc, do you know if it could be tightened too tight and affect the burst discs ability to perform its safety function as designed? I'm still relatively new to certain aspects of dealing with these markers and take very serious any tips and warnings about these HPA tanks. Also, with respect to these burst discs, because I've never had one burst on me, how do you know when one has been deployed and they something that can be fully relied on to perform with fail in the event of an accidental over fill or excessive output? I think I need to find me a video that shows how these burst discs work to better understand them, lol. Thanks again man for your very educational video, I really learned a lot of valuable info!!!

When i say dont mess with them i mean dont replace them with different disks. Burst disks do get weak over time and fail and its as simple as replacing them. Tightening them is okay. They require no thread lock or tape. Youll know when they fail. Youll probably need to change your shorts. When they fail they do so in a safe manner.

Buy a few spares, but only ones with the same exact rating as what's already on your tank- they have a decent shelf life, so two or three of each should probably be good for the life of the tank itself (under normal circumstances)... and I'll add to what Sean said - while you're at it, buy some extra underwear too. I know I was glad to have them. lol

@@jkg6211 wise words. FS burst disks are specific to their regulators. The other regulators are more generic but i would still recommend buying Tippmann disks for Tippmann regulators and same goes for any others.

Another great vid Sean!! I found the Belleville washers via Ali Express, but there are tons of options.....unless I missed something in the video or comments, do you happen to know the exact size you ordered that fit? Thanks as always!!!!

I looked at the regs the vendor was selling and they mimicked the Tippmann regulator i was shimming so i took a chance and ordered and they were correct. If you dont feel comfortable doing this you can buy Tippmann regulator rebuild kits stateside that include a set of new washers.

Just one equalled 100psi. Based on DKs video and two being 975 just an average of slightly less then 100 each is how I suspect a small break in period. You could leave the flat washer and possibly be 950ish. The possibility are endless but its not exact science. Bellevue washers in this orientation () are weakest and like (( are strongest. For instance 4 washers ()() is a given output but those same 4 washers like this ))(( much higher.

The links on Ali do go dead after a while. When i get home ill dig up a new one or you can just buy a Tippmann reg rebuild kit from any paintball shop and it will included the precise bellevue washers. I have had no problems with Chinese regs but most are M18 thread which will only fit Chinese bottles. In North America most regs ate 5/8-18 thread.

I've been wondering if they made a more compact tank. I added on/off valve to my 17 and made it to long for me. So, if I buy, can use ad is or is the easher a must? I only did a pvr delete to the marker. Will mod further over the winter. Thanks in advance.

Many expressed the M17 can be long after adding an on/off. If you were wanting to do something like i have done here to shorten it up i would recommend holding off until i figure it out to save yourself some frustration. Thanks for watching and stay tuned!

@@jrhjrh9372 I personally have a gx 3.5 stage hand pump from amazon. I would recommend whatever pump you decide look for a minimum 3 stage operation.

Its a matter of opinion for most but the Fsc tends to become less reliable above 1000psi. Personally the markers that I keep ready are no more then 950psi.

Ill have to measure when i get a chance. I can say the 9ci is as long as an First Strike 13ci tank but only because of the regulator. The bottle itself is quite small.

An Fs reg yes would work on a Tippmann bottle. They share the same 5/8-18 thread. There are offshore bottle that are M18 and they are not interchangeable.

What size are the belleville washers and the flat washers? The link is dead

I am not sure. The Tippmann regs uses the same offshore branded belleville washers so of you have a look around on Aliexpress you should find them. Links changed frequently on Aliexpress.

Not with a 9ci bottle. Even just the factory setting with 13ci bottle the M17 is only good for about 4-5 mags so now when the fun is turned up that goes down substantially.

These mags for less lethal are not to sit there and have a shoot out. We carry these sizes to through on on an emergency. And in those situations. 20 shots is plenty. And these are easier to carry. We ordered 3. We have 13s on the m17s and tcp carbine now. But we like the smaller tanks

I need to learn what size/pressure?) bottle will match the use of an 88/90G co2. Just as back up / alternate power source but not for more power. [HDX40 in Mar.]

I cant say for certain but based on others data at the power the m17 is it’s probably 2 mags to a 90g bypassed. My 10ci does one mag of 19 at full power.

@@homeagent any bottle with i would estimate an output of close to 1000psi would be near equivalent to the gas expansion that happens with co2.
