Tipper @ Seattle Hempfest 8/19/12
Музыка
Dave Tipper Music set live at Seattle Hempfest 8/19/12.
David Alexander Tipper, also known as Tipper for short (born c. 1976[2] in Wimbledon, London, England)[3] is a British composer and producer specialising in electronic music that ranges from ambient, through trip hop, to uptempo nu skool breaks. His live performances consist largely of his own unreleased compositions, and he is noted for scratching his own sounds over his music, creating a live element of turntablism stemming from prowess early in his career as a vinyl DJ.

I have watched this so many times, so good. Sometimes I imagine myself in the tent, like a time traveller, knowing what's coming, every beat, holler from the crowd and how utterly fcking epic the performance is going to be.

God man, love the variety of Tipper's live acts. He has this style, his downtempo stuff, and then balls to the wall rave style like his set at Sonic Bloom. He also seems to have the humility of a man who has been putting his heart and soul into his music for the last 20 years.
I will see Tipper one day and it will be a pinnacle experience in which i will shit myself.

I can not tell these days if everyone else is trying to sound like tipper, or he just does what they do and shows them how to do it 100 times better. Best description I heard at Resonance: His music sounds dripping wet. God put Gretzky on earth to play hockey, MJ to play basketball, and Dave Tipper to make Electronic music.

Anyone who hates on Bassnectar strictly because he rivals Tipper (or surpasses) smokes mids ;] grow up and quit hating. Nectar and Tipper are the bees and the knees. If you can't see that, then smoke some deems nd put on Fsosf by Bassnectar or something. You'll figure out they're both masterminds. I personally get my mind blown by both of them. I happen to like Bassnectar more. You don't see me hating on Tippers fart noises and constant scratch sounds. Yes, I can find shit to hate on about Tipper, but I don't because he is a beast and a respect the shit out of his art even though it isn't %100 my bread n butter. I'll say it again. Grow up.

Ive definitely watched this numerous times since i found this on your page a while back. AMAZING fucking set. Really sets a different type of bar for DJing shit in my books. Such a variety blend of im guessing, all his own production? Its too cohesive to not be. If so, hes got insane music selection. Need to find more of his performances. Definitely appreciate this upload dude!

Yeah pretty sure it’s a large percent his own production. Invisibl Skratch Piklz played at one of his hippy bass music festivals years back… always thought that was pretty cool. If you can look uo “Tipper Tepid Bile”, the cuts are freaking sick in that one.
2020 and this vibe just keeps getting better and better. Would’ve loved to see myself in this video so that many years from now I could look back and say I was part of this energy.

Guys a legend - the uk didnt get him - so he left, went to the states - look after him my cousins
@TheJohnsofDoes
3 жыл бұрын
He didn't leave the UK because people didn't "get him" and you seriously have no idea what you are talking about as he practically ran the Breaks, and then later Nu-Breaks scene for a good few years from the late 90ies till the early noughties in the UK. He was the one to beat both as a DJ and definitely moreso as a producer. He even said that the leaving the UK had nothing to do with his creativity either as he'd still be capable of making the exact same stuff he does now living in UK. If he has said why he moved to Hawaii i haven't seen it in a interview or anything like that, but it had nothing to do with people not "getting him" back home
God I fucking love you Dave
