It's a cost/profit exercise with manufacturers. I've just ripped out all the wiring for my headlights on my Defender, got rid of the bullet connectors and soldered throughout. Heavy gauge quality cabling, Bosch relays, and ceramic headlight connectors. Huge improvement in visibility and far safer all round. Easy job on a Land Rover. Not easy at all on a modern car. And when you start adding accessories that put more current through those ridiculously low current cables they use...you're gonna have a bad time and end up watching videos like this.

Thank you for this video my brother in-law keeps having to replace his headlights and he's buying the extra bright ones and that would explain why they keep going bad I will check it out and see it's a newer Impala I will be watching more of your videos thank you
