It personally hit home when he says that his "Dad instincts" kicked in As a cat owner, I heard a baby kitten crying out at the near end of winter this year, scouting out the parking lot, I found a mother kicking her baby out and let it freeze. I picked up and nursed it back. Medications, baths and whatnot. Now grown into a big boy and happy with an adopted family

Same. I could hear a cat meow in my complex while cooking and with earbuds in, through a closed door and when I stepped out I couldn’t find it. When I waited a moment, I checked again and saw a cat’s head poke out of my neighbor’s window. I was so glad he was safe and inside and had a home because it was freezing and windy and raining. I would have let any friendly animal in that was meowing for shelter.

Do You want catS is the question I was asked; well not really asked, by their mother. She is a friendly stray I feed. She discovered the dog flap, came in with her two kits many times in a 3 month period; one day she came with her 2 girls, had a snack & left…….Abby & Ziva are about 5 months old now; about 5 feet away from me, & could start fighting at any moment. ( their mom, May, still comes to the back porch for meals)

My pit bull boy literally pulled me off of the edge of my apartment balcony five stories up. I was literally about to jump. And he grabbed the back of my shirt and pulled me back inside. He took down a man who tried to mug me, he got injured in a fight protecting me from three aggressive off leash unsupervised pits. "They rescue us" could not be a more accurate statement.

I was adopted by a stray cat, and she quickly became the light of my life. People will say 'I can get you a date', and my reply is 'my heart is already saturated with joy'.

Leo is a lucky kitten to find his daddie to love him when he needed it most. And you needed him for support too, Jo. I am so happy that Leo will be loved even by people at the gym and the office. It's so amazing how people melt when something as precious and adorable show up in their world.

My story with my cat Sebby is very similar. I was going through one of the worst times in my life if not the worst. I was really loosing my grip on everything, struggling through everyday. I often say, my cat in need of a home actually save me. I must 2nd everything this cat owner said. I got all of that and more. That's why it pains me to see so many homeless cats, they don't deserve to be treated that way at all, they deserve all the care we can provide. Cats get a bad rap, people tend to think dogs are more loving when that's not true. Cats can heal you, they do appreciate you, they love you uncomfortable.

There are probably things you can do where you live to help out homeless pets. To find out, start by asking animal clinics, pet supply stores, local animal control. (However, not all animal control agencies make the critters' welfare their top priority, so check with those other organizations first.) Don't feel like you must have special veterinary training to be useful. There are many other ways to help, even if you can't have animals where you live: 1.) Volunteer at feral cat spay/neuter clinics, including trapping and/or transporting cats. (Seriously! No prior special training needed!) 2.) Chauffeur cats around to vet appointments, adoption events, etc. 3.) Help people managing feral cat colonies by providing cat food, helping with the cost of vet care, fostering and socializing kittens. 4.) Lobbying local politicians on behalf of the animals. 5.) Help get cats & kittens adopted. When I was doing rescue, foster & adoption, the big chain pet supply stores in my area had adoption events every weekend. This involved someone sitting with the animals several hours a day. This can be combined with... 6.) Increase public awareness of the homeless pet situation, and what can be done to manage it humanely. 7.) If you are up to the task, manage one or more feral colonies. You can learn by helping someone who is already doing it. 8.) And if you *can* have animals, foster rescued kittens until they go to their permanent homes. Cats tend to reproduce seasonally, so there are peak surges of homeless kittens which can overwhelm animal control's resources. (You don't want to know how that overload gets resolved without outside help.)

@@gtexperiment2117 But they lied to him in the pet store. Or maybe they just didn't know. That cat is definitely NOT 2 weeks old. At 2 weeks they just start opening their eyes and start learning how to walk, but they're really uncoordinated. The kitten definitely couldn't have run up to him. The cat at its youngest in this video was at least 4 weeks old, maybe even older. That makes me think that they might've sold him unnecessary stuff that wasn't even needed at this point of development. Still a really cute video, just wondering that no one pointed that out.

That's how I have my current cat. We found him when he was around 8 weeks old scared, malnourished and covered in mud and fleas. He was scared, hissy and scratchy but we managed to get him (with gloves) and take him home to give him a bath and food. We then took him to the vet and with some care and patience he started to trust us. Now, he's a 20lb fat and spoiled cat that gives everyone big headbutts, has around 50 different toys and eats lots of fish, turkey, chicken, duck and beef.

Check behind restaurants, grocery stores, and other food sources during kitten season for your new buddy. Bring serious gloves and a sturdy carrier, or use a live trap and bait. Realize a newly captured feral kitten is an unbelievably fast and effective flesh shredding machine, not at all like the exceptionally friendly kitten in this video.

Happened with my dog! Was at a low point and woke up one day and just had a feeling my dog was at the pound. Our family dog had passed 4 months earlier and that was devastating. He was a mini dachshund. Low and behold I walk into the pound that day and even though I’d love to take every dog in there home(but can’t afford that), there was a little mini dachshund. He isn’t a replacement for our first dog, but another animal to love and rescue. He’s still my BFF and when I’m down, I grab his leash, he runs to the door, and we walk it off together.

Sharon D., I have a little story for you About a little all grey kitten that showed up on my doorstep.She looks like a Russian blue.Anyway She wasn't in the greatest condition. She is totally wild and ferral and will not let me touch her.She continues To show up early in the morning,stands on my stoop and looks through the window. I feed her And over the last year has turned into a beautiful cat.I named her Skittles!

A lot of people are not financially stable this period and it's not easy, I always advise people, don't just waste your stimulus checks or salary, invest it in something that will yield more, even if it is a part of it. We can't keep relying on a paycheck that is already half-spent before we even receive it, there are investment opportunities that have helped a lot of people especially in the financial market. Having different streams of income is essential in this pandemic, especially now most of us have to earn and work from home. I've made impressive progress so far this year and it has helped me sort out a lot of bills and I do that through a registered investment company. People, this one guy with multiple fake KZread accounts has spam this channel with his fake testimonials and scam. So lets all goto his Instagram @richard_brucefx and let him know it is not nice to spam on other people's channel with his trash, then copy and paste his own spam text onto his Instagram post. Internet people, let's do it.
