Thanks for sharing, Alex. Really enjoy your videos. I am new to this whole smart home devices. I have heard of the smart devices but didn’t know that smart home is achievable in Singapore home. Your summary on smart home solutions are great! Was a bit bummed about requiring the hub for distance remote control but once you mentioned it has a secondary feature as an IR blaster, it would be a pretty useful addition in any smart home enthusiast! Would like to try them out :)

Just got the keys to my new flat! 🏡 I have always wanted to turn my home into a smart home! Thanks to the help of Alex’s videos the process has been so much easier! Winning the switch bot would allow me to covert some of my appliances into “smart appliances” ☺️

I have been searching for something similar hardware that could add on that smart “touch” to my existing rented room. Has been using device that could control AC while I am out. Awesome! I've been trying to find practical smart home solutions for a long while, and you've made it so much easier with your videos. Easy to understand and segmented into various sections. Really helpful. Keep up your good work :) This Switchbot will be the answer to that part in my home to switch on/off the water heater that result in water leaking from the by-pass hole in the wall when the heaters are turned on for too long. No more flooding toilet floors, and saves water! Would love to have them :P

Nice! I was just thinking about trying SB out as my PC switch.

I am a SwitchBot user and I find it really useful as I do not need to dabble with rewiring of switches considering that I have colour deficiency. My gf had intention to automate her home switches as well so I am thinking of gifting her a starter pack for her birthday, so of course additional SwitchBots and the hub mini will be really nice to have! 👍🏻

Can just imagine using one of these for my heater - turn it on and let the water heat up before I get home. Though I think my mum would love being able to programme SwitchBot to turn thd heater off after 15 mins to prevent overheating :)

This product is very unique and interesting. I can think of a few appliances that I could use this for.

yeah pretty sure you can get it shipped to aus from the official website

I think this will be really useful for me especially if you have individual switches that you would like to automate yet you do not need to change the whole switch. It is safe and fuss-free! Planning to use it for my heater since it is a storage heater and will take a while to get the hot water. Before leaving home or after returning from home, I will be able to automate or wirelessly turn on the switch and get a warm shower easily!

yeah very gd point for a 3gang switch but you just want to automate 1 of them!
