yes i know its not an easy task to make tiny figures, I am recently working on making Astronauts outts polymer clay, I now gonna have to also add thin wire, and is like you said need to make a little at a time, people may think its easy but its not takes time.

I’m so glad I found your video. This is the only one that I could find that’s about making people this size. My hopes are to make little people for my Christmas village and to go with a model of my grandparents house.

Thank you for your kind comment! I baked those little guys according to the directions on the clay package. I don't remember which I used here, but each brand has its own instructions. Underbaking is better on this tiny size, so go for half the recommended time.

the wire seems to get in the way, can you just roll shapes and put them together?
@revmudbug
7 жыл бұрын
Yes you can! I used wire because the pieces are so small that they could break too easily.

But ... For how long do you bake them????
@revmudbug

The package of clay will tell you the temp and time. It would be so many minutes per 1/2 inch of clay. Since they're so tiny, I'd say 10 minutes at whatever temperature the package says.

Follow the instructions for the clay you use, but shorten the time by half. If the figure isn't firm you can add a few minutes at a time. The clay can turn dark if it goes too long. Have fun!

This is so hard to do with air dry clay.
