Thank you for the work that you do. These videos are what keeps me going. I'm care taker for stray and feral cats in my area. I'm up every morning at 5 am to feed them and back and forth 2 to 3 times after that. I don't get donations so this is just me trying to do what I can on my fixed income. I wouldn't have it any other way. They are very much apart of my family. We all share a special bond (even if some won't let me near them). They know I'm here to help. Bless you and the work you do. A Burmese cat I had went blind at bout age 15. I didn't notice. She has the whole house memorized and never seemed affected by it at all. She remained playful and loving. She made it to almost 20 yrs old and was in physical pain so we had her gently put to sleep. I think she was grateful for that. It was a painful thing for me. But a year later I got another kitten and will do anything for her to keep her happy and healthy.

Looks like he's improving. I like how at least some people pick out pets which aren't necessarily best looking or best anything. It's about love, not perfection.

My mom has a paralyzed cat that got attacked by a dog and she never knows when she's peeing so she has to always wear these little diapers! But when the diapers come off its a nightmare, and you have to rub there stomachs to try to get them to poop. Its alot of work

Ive had cats with cancer that ive nursed for months before it took them. Congenital heart defects where kitty cpr was necessary. The lost, the mistreated, the babies in need. Ya id adopt him in a heartbeat.

He needs a wheelchair that lifts his front legs from the floor, forcing him to use his weaker back legs for locomotion, not all the time but for therapy, and reserving his front legs for clawing and grasping.

Just look at the little one go!!!! Gorgeous baby!

That's one ticket for speeding. And another one for breaking the cuteness limit.

Cats are not any different from humans in that perspective. Blind people often have very good ears, and people who cannot use their legs but who can still move there arms can also be able to do things with their arms and legs that people who can walk never thought of. Cats are the same in that perspective.

My SIL rescued a kitten that had gotten hit by a car that broke his pelvis. When we adopted him he could walk, but not jump, so he had the powerful chest from pulling himself up onto furniture.

This is what happens when you give someone a chance. Amazing work goes to these guys.

Not saints. Just Vets and Vet techs that happened to have an abandoned disabled kitten in their clinic that needed rehab. Why should tbis be SO STRANGE? I DONT GET IT! But then again, I'm Disabled. We shouldn't be seen as soon extraordinary objects to be ooh'd and aaah'd over whether humans or animals. Why can't we just be part of the whole picture and blend in? Is it really too much to ask?

Look at him go!!! I was the exact same when I got my first ever electric wheelchair last year, there was no stopping me. I adopted an orange kitten that looks just like Mac 5 months ago. His name is Peanut and he had digestive issues, lots of constipation. So for the first 2 months he either had lose stools due to the meds, or hard stools that would get stuck halfway out. Either way, Peanut got a bath multiple times a day. I was either cleaning him off or trying to let the warm water loosen and detach the poo. Now, he's doing perfectly fine and is the best pet decision I've ever made. Every day I'm thankful our family stuck with him through all the mess, medicine, vet visits, laundry and baths. But now he is a total water kitty! Every time someone is in the bath or shower, he's right there trying to join in the fun! Usually he succeeds and you'll find him swimming in the tub with my 4 year old or standing on the tub ledge swatting at the water while I shower! 😄 You go Mac! Get your ZOOOOOOM on buddy!!! 😻👍🏻

What a beautiful angel. Mac is so determined and brave. When he claimed up to the window sill, in my head, I kept encouraging, you can do it, don't give up and he didn't and he used his right back leg. Yay!❤ It was awesome to see. 🥰😍🤗. 🙏🏽 for a long healthy and happy life for the little angel. ❤

Aww when we went to adopt a cat from a shelter there was one kitten left from a litter, it's back legs where paralysed and i instantly felt terrible for it as it had no mum or family left. Of course we adopted her and called her squirrel, it was about a week later and my mum was getting worried and was thinking of putting her to sleep so she wouldn't have to live on like this... then a miracle happened, she l of a sudden started walking infront of me and I've never felt so happy. Shes now 6 and is living a happy cat life with me and my family. We never gave up on her!

Could've been underdeveloped back legs, might not have been actually paralyzed just too weak to use. I'm not a vet though so I have no idea, but that's good to hear

I don't understand why your mom wanted to euthanize your cat just because she was paralyzed at the time. As long as the puddie cat is healthy and not in pain, it deserves a chance at life. Glad she gained use of her legs and wasn't put to sleep. People are so quick to euthanize.

This small kitten is giving me the lesson of never quitting. What a brave little creature.

It warms my heart to see people trying to care for these animals that would have otherwise been euthanized because they were unable to get around. I applaud all the people who engineer and design these mechanical marvels that allow paralyzed animals to have a meaningful life--a real life and not just an existance.

It says he was unable to walk so his mom abandoned him. That points to a birth defect or something similar. Could be a brain issue, nerves/muscles not working properly, ...kind of take your pick. His condition looked more or less permanent to me. While he may recover some use of his legs, it looked like he's always going to have hind leg issues at the end. I'm not a vet or expert, so take my opinion FWIW.

@@glintoflightonbrokenglass9473 just gaining partial use of one leg would be a big quality of life improvement. They showed at the end he can get himself up to a window ledge now at least. I had a dog with only 2.5 good legs.

@@joehernandez9563 Of course! He's certainly able to get around well. His quality of life is good, too. The OP sounded like she was hoping for a complete recovery for Mac. My opinion has already been stated on that note. While I believe his condition is permanent, Mac was in excellent hands and has made about as much recovery as is possible.

Wonderful! He is happy, healthy, and loved. Thank you for not giving up on this darling boy.❤

I can watch this all day..such a cute angel...moves fast like a toy...and such lovely, kind human beings..🙂❤..

We had a kitty like that when I was growing up. The vet said it was from a birth injury. Mama cat was too tiny. The vet wanted to put it "to sleep" but we said, "forget you." Lol It used to slide all over the lawn in our back yard. Happy as a clam. It eventually walked. ❤

MannyFresh1x Animals do have emotions but yes, they don’t think as much as we do and not about the same things... Maybe he sees that other cats walk differently or are faster, but he doesn’t realize that that’d be the normal thing for him too, for him this is the normal, natural thing. And his survival instinct is as strong as any other cat’s :)

Oh my gosh, the little kitty is able to run like he's a little race car!! So fun to see!! Thanks for helping the darling little buddy!!
