Oh, the poor sweet baby. I'm so glad the cutie wasn't really paralyzed and that it was the infection that caused the problem with is walking. Now he has healed and is walking and healthy. Thank you for your wonderful care of the little one.

Hi vet ranch! Today I found a kitten abandoned by its mom under my backyard shed , I sat outside in Miami heat covered in bugs waiting for the cat to get comfortable with me , in just an hour I'm taking it to the vet and making sure it's in perfect condition! People like you inspire me to take strays and help them :)

This just makes me think about how many cats get paralyzed and can't find enough food to live and just die. This cat is just a fighter. It wants to at least try to live

I can't count how many times I have watched this little babies story. To watch the transformation from a sick, paralyzed precious kitty...to a healed up, walking and happy kitty is so good! It makes me smile every time. Dr. Matt's hands can do so much. He can go out and shoot guns and blow stuff up and then be so gentle with the sickest babies. Keep it up Dr. Matt and all of the staff that is on Vet Ranch! We love you all.

i wanted to be a vet when i was a child but i realized that i'm very squeamish and not tough enough to see animals in pain. thanks to you guys for taking care of this little guy and saving other animals' lives.

+RainbowKitkatSprinkles I was never that squeamish. We used to(USED TO) eat Goat and the guy that was giving us goat meat showed us a dead goat head. He thought I was scared of it until I touched its eyes bare handed. He was surprised lol. I was 6 and I knew it was dead but I wasn't scared

Lemme tell ya, i work at a vet office and there are a lot of euthanizing which is really tough. The procedures are also a lot more intense in real life so if this is tough, real life is gonna be impossible

Cuteness overload.. I'm a grown ass man, who doesn't care too much about showing emotion, but whenever i see a kitten, i go all schoolgirl on them, dropping to their level, petting them and talking to them like they would be kids, have trespassed way too many places in asia, cause I've seen a kitten on someone's property while i would be traveling :D

The back and spinal cord are strange and sometimes inexplicable body parts! What an amazing transformation OVERNIGHT in that kitten just by draining off the pressure and pain causing pus from the spine area!!! Great work doc! 👍😺🐈🐾🏆

We are actually treating a kitten just like this at my shelter! Whatever bit her did it hard enough to actually damage the vertebrae and caused a huge abscess. She started walking (highly ataxic) just two days ago. :D

When I was 15 or 16 my cat Speedy got in a fight with an animal and developed a monster abscess right on the same spot as Sunshine, only Speedy was an adult cat (he was huge) and the abscess was the size of a grapefruit. Took him to the vets and it cost me $700 to get him fixed up, at the time it was all the money I had saved up working part-time after school.

I don't know how true this is, but I've read that purring is a cats way of asking you to take care of them. That's why cats purr sometimes when they are scared or injured, not just when they are happy. So this little guy knew you were helping him and he is probably very grateful. I wish him all the best.

Actually purring has multiple reasons! Mostly its cuz they are content or want attention or when they are sick! But cats also pur as a way to help heal themselves! The frequency of their purs helps bone regenaration, blood circulation and wound healing! This is scientifcially proven!!! Thats why scientist also believe that cats and their purring helps owners who suffer from chronic illneses and depression!The cats pur frequency is the same as human frequency at whihc our cells vibrate making humans very open to cat pur frequency and theres a lot of studies suggesting purring does pass through the human body and sooths inflammation whihc in turns heals a lot of other illnesses that are caused by inflammation. One of the reasons a cat purrs besides being happy is the vibration helps injures heal faster. There is a lot more details but that's the basic idea, so probably part of the reason Sunshine was purring was BECAUSE he was hurt. Amazing video btw I want to be a vet in the future and this really gives me an idea of what it's like!😁

just watched vet ranch today after watching demo ranch for years. you are a champion. 10/10.

I Rescued A Stray Short necked tabby today, He's really scared of me So I just let him sleep on my bed, cause he felt most Comfortable there by the looks of it...He got attacked by another cat in the neighbourhood and he's only a kitten also looks like he's been abused ;O God Bless him 😍

Man I must say I am a recent fan. I have been watching your Demolition Ranch channel for a couple months and have heard you refer to the vet ranch but never have checked it out till tonight and I must say after seeing this I have way more respect for you then I already did.
