Thank you for an honest assessment of the tiny home. It's just as important to hear the cons, as well as the pros. Usually, owners just tell the pros.

Our pleasure! If we plan to go tiny, we don't want to be surprised by anything!

I think in the future a lot of people will be living in a tiny house whether they want to or not. 👍

We do too! Hopefully its a life choice for most but renting or owning a normal sized home is so expensive these days! We are definitely trying to explore all our options for our budget.

Thank you for the honesty. I’ve been watching tiny house videos for 6 or 7 years now and NOT ONE Person has ever mentioned the noise and vibration of the mini split. Good video, nicely done!

Glad to bring you an honest video! That thing drove me nuts all night :) Especially since it was mounted right under the bed.

@@GreetingsfromtheGalwoods I did notice the location of the heater/air conditioner and thought, "Hmm, that's interesting." I'd suggest a small wood stove, or parlor stove for an area that is damp, such as Oregon. Wood heat is such nice, dry heat. Unless someone lives where it's really hot, where that particular tiny home is located, you would never need more than a fan during the summer. We actually used to live just down the highway from where Tiny Tranquility was built. The site used to be a large, family-run nursery. I believe there are still greenhouses there, where residents can grow produce if they wish. Maybe you rent the space if you live there, not sure if it's included in the space rent? Anyway, I wish you the best in finding or building the right home for you.

HI! I went and stayed there in Oct. I was in Seafoam initially but I wanted to see if I could do a ladder, so I switched to the cutie at 6:27 in your video. I discovered I don't want a ladder long term, but it was so fun to try it for 4 nights. I will go back. and do the Seafoam soon, hopefully. I love the layout and the vintage feel. Thanks for sharing!

Awe fun! I'm glad you've been to Tiny Tranquility too! I know, I don't think we could do a ladder either, especially since our dog likes to sleep with us. Too much work!

Thanks for your overview on your experience as well as your honest thoughts. ? If I may ask, Are you both looking to travel around to experience THOW? I’m having my THOW built by Incredible Tiny Homes (ITH) it’s one of the Models that he offers. Have you heard of Incredible Tiny Homes? I have never stayed in a tiny So, I can see that you both are very smart about making sure this is something you would honestly love or not. Also, the more you explore this “new” style of living you will have a pretty clear idea of your likes/dislikes and must haves. Most important is size and floor plan as you know. You’re off to a really good start, and I wish you both all the best in finding your most perfect tiny.

Thank you so much! I have heard of that company. I think we would ultimately want to have our tiny parked in one spot. Ideally on land we owned, but until we can afford that we are debating staying either in a community like this one or park it on one of our family's properties. I hope you enjoy your tiny when it is done being built. That is so exciting! Congrats!

I like the idea of a tiny home community, but not the reality of it. I need my private, fenced outdoor space for the dog and my garden and just to be ourside without neighbors within 20 feet.

I can understand that for sure! I want chickens some day but I wouldn't be able to have them if we lived in a community. However, I do like the idea of being neighbors with so many like minded people and having community events close by.

I've seen some tiny house communities allow gardens. I'm not sure about chicken. Some may have community gardens or mini parks or walking paths
