Meet Tracy & Chris, a couple who transformed a retired Greyhound bus into an incredible home on wheels. Originally pursuing boatlife, Tracy & Chris ultimately decided to pursue their traveling dreams in a bus, to help them stay connected to family.
Tracy & Chris designed their entire floor plan around their Greyhound's massive windows. Featured in their bus is a large kitchen, living room, a washer/dryer combo, full size bathroom, & king size bed. The abundant amount of space combined with the unbelievable window views makes this Greyhound conversion nothing short of amazing.

see this is why i can't watch this channel - now y'all get me wanting to live in a GREYHOUND BUS too!?

Everyone wants a bus, until they understand the maintenance costs involved.
The Cleanest build I have ever seen !!!
My favorite part of this build is the bathroom! Out of the many bus/skoolie conversions I've seen, this is the first one with a bathroom that's actually a normal descent size. I always wonder how a person can maintain good personal hygiene in a shower you can barely turn around in, raise or stretch out your arms, or bend over. Love this layout! And 250 gallons of fresh water? Yeah, that's more like it. 😊

🎯🎯🎯 You think Exactly like me with the bathroom, hygiene, water business. They truly nailed it. This is the first normal size bathroom, I have seen that you can do what you need to do with ease and confidence..

That is why I think it is a necessity to have a handheld shower head in those little showers. That's the only way you're going to reach those crevices. 😂 But these guys are living like they are on a luxury airline bus!😂

I saw a big bathroom in a box conversion over a year ago... which means I can't remember title or channel lol. It was a huge nice truck a business rich middle age man still in the business world made for a lot of money, like custom made tool boxes where the outside skirt area is. Nice options. It was black and you had to climb stairs to get in. If I find in while this is fresh on the mind I'll come back. 👍

*decent "descent" means to go down
One of the most effective, simplest, cleanest, functional, and spacious design I have seen. I would personally have everything electric using solar panels covering the whole (or most of the) roof. Also opposing couches. Looks brand new. Congrats.
I LOVE the color of your stove and refrigerator!!! Really love the kitchen space and the windows! Wow! Having everything in drawers is a really nice idea. The shower is very pretty. Again, love the color. The entire bathroom is super nice. I could go on and on. Your home is beautiful. Such a great job you did. Love it all 😊❤👏 Thank you for sharing your knowledge and what you've learned. Your dog towards the end sleeping on the couch...hilarious! Safe travels and again, beautiful and thank you for sharing.
This is absolutely beautiful. I love that bathroom with so much space. I didn't see any TV. But now days, a laptop is the same as a television. Beautiful though. Thank you for sharing your awesome place.
As long as they're happy. But just speaking on personal taste, for me this looks like a blank canvas waiting to be filled/decorated
@TheReal_JG
6 ай бұрын
It is blank, but this is absolutely perfect for when a conversion needs to be sold. Not everybody has the same taste as the original builder, so a blank canvas conversion is the way if a couple or family needs to let it go.

Yeah that's how I felt too but nothing wrong with minimalism.

When the bus engine gets old and faulty and mileage is high, can a bus be towed like an RV trailer, by hitching it to a truck?
Beautiful home. It’s so open without any clutter. The windows make you feel like you’re outside. It’s an enviable lifestyle. We love our snowbird friends in Texas. 👍🏻

It's not a home. It's a holiday vehicle. They don't live there.
SPECTACULAR & STUNNING !! This is EXACTLY like a stick & brick home, you cannot tell the difference inside. There is too much beauty going on every where to list. You guys totally nailed it ! Enjoy your beautiful home. Happy travels !
Wow....this is absolutely stunning! I am amazed by the wide walkways and openness of this build! The interior colors are bright and cheery without seeming kitschy. Just perfect!
Wow....Your bus is gorgeous. I love the stylish minimalist look. The best ever Jit xxx.
The bathroom and bedroom are definitely the best parts of this bus. The couch and kitchen table threw me off. The fridge needs a support frame. I like the plain white layout with a touch of blue, but something else is needed. Maybe some plants or flowers, it feels empty. BUT the bathroom and bedroom!!!! ❤❤❤
This is a fantastic build! It is so spacious, and the huge windows makes it seem like you are living outside in the open. I would never feel claustrophobic in there. The kitchen area is large enough for a whole dinning area! The bathroom is amazing. Especially the shower. And that king size bed, what a luxury! Beautiful home on wheels!👍🏽
So happy to see a conversion that is light and bright on the inside ! Normally there’s wood on the ceiling, walls and floor and no matter what the ceiling height is you feel like you’ve got to crouch to move around in its dark space Love how the fridge and stove add that pop of colour - beautiful Love how the fridge is raised up! No more falling to your knees to reach the eggs !
The idea of combining waste containment awesome! It's a well built home!
The practicality of the tiny homes is the challenge for me in terms of cooking and showers with some spaces being so small but I can get used to a greyhound conversion. This home is pretty cool. Love it.
Wow! Really nicely done! I love it… and it doesn’t look like grandma old lady from the 80’s… hauling her entire house and her doilies, hummels, and tacky and poofy curtain valances down the road.
OMG, what a beautiful, well thought-out build! Love those windows. It has my vote for best build so far.
Hi from west Australia the dog looks very comfortable…thank you for sharing your mobile home on wheels
Love love love the all drawers approach for the kitchen ! Also love the fact you designed with your puppy in mind !

Totally agree! When we had our first kitchen built in our house, I wanted ALL drawers but the kitchen company thought it unnecessary. We managed to get drawers in half of our kitchen - it was the 80s - but when we got a new kitchen in 2005 it was finally all drawers.

@@heatherjay8802 love how the company thought it was unnecessary 🤣😄 like they are going to be cooking in your kitchen? Could not agree with you more - drawers are the way to go, glad you finally got all that you wanted 👏👏👏👏👏

Love, love, love this build - I have the same medicine cabinet from ikea and they hold a lot! I could move in tomorrow !
This is so perfect. Love this layout and colors.
I agree with the Thetford toilet. I live in an RV, this is my 2nd. My 1st had that Thetford toilet and I loved it. This trailer has a different one that I really dislike. I'm going to switch it to the Thetford when I replace the flooring. Your build is really beautiful. The amazing windows give you wrap around art work! ❤

I like at 5:58 where he mentions attending Skooliepalooza as a dream and she glances at the camera with an “ugh!” look on her face.
We have a washer/dryer combo too. In case this is of interest to you or anyone else, I have tips for drying. Do small loads. This reduces wrinkles and the washing (yes, washing) time significantly. Take the laundry out 20 minutes after it goes to cool down (CD). When I do this, I open the door and get blasted with moisture, and the clothes feel quite damp. I grab them out and walk to my bed to lay them out. Anything that I want wrinkle-free, I smooth out piece by piece in a pile on the bed. By the time I’m done smoothing each piece, it is completely dry. I find this to be true in the summer or winter, and I don’t live in an arid climate. Anything where I don’t care about wrinkles, I just leave it in a loose jumble and it feels dry almost instantly. The exception to this is heavier fabrics- sometimes undershirts and washcloths and certainly towels. In that case, they need a little drying time so I could hang them up to dry. I don’t, though; I just spread them out all over the master bed and they’re dry in an hour or two. So while towels and sometimes undershirts are more hassle, this “take out 20 minutes into cool down” method is so effective for me for everything else, I am very happy with our machine. HTH you or someone else. I realize machines might vary, but it might be worth a try. Cheers.
I love your bright, minimalist decor that stays low and prioritizes windows... it allows you to focus on the people in the space, and the nature all around... well done!
You can watch a video like this and see where the builder put their priorities. Yours is big to start with, therefore every part has space... bath, bedroom, and living area. I personally would not want to have to deal with such a large rig, but again, it is all about priorities... Great rig and video!
You have a beautiful coach. I was camped right behind you in the little Aliner trailer. Was too shy to come say Hi. Happy Travels.
Wow! This bus is amazing! Very neat. Sometimes people will have to criticize what you have. I would love to have a very neat bust like yours. I do not like slot of clutter.
Such a lovely bus breath taking really. One of my dream.
Everything looks so sleek and clean. I love the colors
This is one of the best builds that I've ever seen. It's absolutely beautiful!!
Your bus is beautiful! Come over to West Virginia sometime, would love to meet you and see your amazing home! God Bless 😊
Very cool idea...like a tiny house design.
I love the open space. I love the windows! Just a Great home!
Wow! Another great bus built. I absolutely love this bus❤😢
Okay. Great build and all, but your dog looks like he's REALLY digging it! As a Canadian - above -40/snow-free lifestyle once you get older, as I am, Duh?
Good for you , Adventure on ! Yes, Canadian winters suck
This made me smile as your tiny fridge is our normal size fridge in the UK 😂 Beautiful colours though love your bus 🩵
Loved the shoot with little big girl sleeping on the couch her little lower teeth was so adorable. Plus love your set up gives me new ideas for my future build along with know looking for a greyhound or comparable rig.
I love tiny homes, bus conversions, RVs, everything! Nice job. New follower here from South East Louisiana.
This is the most clean layout.
nice clean build....all those windows = HEAT. As a fellow bus owner...I cringe at the windows, you can not get away with that in TEXAS. Happy and safe travels!
Your bus/home is beautiful
Wow- beautiful, calm, uncluttered. I love it. They are such a cute couple. 😊
This build is the best I have seen especially the kitchen 💯👌
Wow just wow your home is so grand and beautiful. Love from the UK 🐝🇬🇧❤❤❤❤

Beautiful buildout. Well done! (Canadians - it figures! 😊❤)
WOW!! This is definitely the way to motor home travel! I love the slick stream line wide airy living without leaving anything out. By far the best lay out of any motor home I've ever seen!! And what a beautiful lucky dog you've got for a companion! Also love your plastic liquor container, you guys have thought of everything, Way to Go!!! Happy Safe Travels!!! 🐾🌝
Wow great bus build! Normally I would not care for the aesthetic look you chose for your build but I love it! Imagines our big dogs would love it too. I love the amount of water storage you have. Have yall ever considered putting in a steam shower. 🤔 These showers use 2 gallons of water for a 20 minute shower. Have fun! Thanks for sharing! May God direct you in all you do!
Thank you so much, for taking the time to show us your home!
Nice rig. I like what you did with it.
Beautiful bus. I love all the windows!
Wao, que hermosa y espaciosa casa rodante! Mucha suerte en cada uno de sus viajes y gracias por compartir el video. 😊 🇧🇪🇧🇪🇧🇪🇧🇪
Really nice and great layout.. you can tell that you really put a lot of thought into the build and what worked for you.
Yes. Decor is a bit cold for me. But love all the windows and design!
Love the full sized oven.
Love the straightforward and very functional layout and the LIGHT!! So much LIGHT!
I love this tiny house on wheels.
You did a fantastic job!!! Thanks
Great puppy!! You did a lovely job. Love the drawers. I did the same thing. One thing, is freezer space! A must, if you shop meat sales as I do! Glad you solved the problem. Wish it was possible to fit in a chest freezer 😅 if you have meat in the freezer, there’s always something in the pantry to go with it 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕 such a blessing there is a lid for every pot!
This is such an attractive build! So light, airy & open -- really nice feel to it. Do they have solar? Didn't see any.
Love your bus
My favorite! Wow I'm impressed. Its so bright and clean and clutter free. I felt so relax. You guys did an AMAZING JOB
❤❤ Love the color of the stove and Frig. The bathroom is bigger than mine in my house ❤.
Thanq for the video; love the kitchen and the drawers. You've got loads storage space it's brilliant. Stay safe on your travels.
Thank you for sharing... this is a design I could live with very easily!!
Absolutely love your bus.you have done great job. Safe travels 🎉🎉
These folks are Canadian if you listened to the Husbands remarks about their decision to buy abus.
What a great job on the conversion. Excellent use of space and place. I want one too.
Very nice guys. Safe travels and love your shots to go thingy 👌🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
It is beautiful, comfortable and well spaced out👌👌👌
Perfect design layout and teal/ aqua colors! Hopefully you can run this thru an 1120S, for your business! 105# puppy is livin' large.
That “tiny” fridge is around the same size as the average fridge/freezer combo in the uk tho some people do have the big “American” size fridges xx it’s a nice build but a bit stark and lacking character xx
Great build ~~ Love your puppers
Wow, the craftsmanship and detail is awesome from the way you boxed in each of the window frames to the pull down sheers and blackout blinds to the wallpaper, design in the shower tile and the great bedroom with large windows! It’s obvious you spent a lot of time, money, research and took your time designing the bus. It looks like the interior of a house. I’m not a fan of the modern, clean minimalist look, so really can’t appreciate the interior of your bus as most others can who likes that type of look. It’s certainly a popular style, but I prefer a more traditional, earth tones, darker woods, warmer and inviting style. Yes, it’s old school, but I’m older so it fits me well. Regardless of color and material differences, it’s a beautiful bus and you did a great job! I wish I had a bus that size! My wife and I are retiring this year and I’m trying to talk her into buying another RV. We sold our motorhome years ago, but I want to travel the country. My wife will never full-time, but she’s becoming more open to traveling a month or so, stay home a couple months, then back out. I have chronic back pain so can’t drive a long time, so she’ll be doing most of the driving, won’t pull a trailer, but wants something small, but not a van. I want a large 5th wheel, but of course that’s a dream, so we’ll likely end up with the smallest class C made. All she has to do is drive the freeways and I’ll drive the streets. The idea is to travel and see all the beauty and attractions this country has to offer, so I guess the mode if transportation isn’t as important. I’d love to build a schoolie, but can’t do it with my back and, we have nowhere to build it. Anyway, you never know, we may bump into you on the road one day! I wish you guys safe and happy travels! Oh, your SHOTSTIGO is freak’n cool. I’m going to give you another idea you can do for a small fee. Add one more interior bottle so it’s a three-in-one bottle. Alcohol in one, mixer in one and one is empty. Squeeze the amount of alcohol and mixer you want into the empty portion. Everyone likes different strengths so you fulfill the needs of the people. It would be a larger bottle, but it would be great for those long drive days. Just set it next to your seat with a long straw and your set! Party in a bottle!
It's beautiful
Bravo!!! This truly stellar layout is very inventive. Thanks for the invite and overview. I thought about a Greyhound conversion over the years...and your project showed what some planning and imagination could acheive. You have given me the spark to make a planned effort. Again.....wishing you continued success and adventures.
This is incredible 🤗🤗🤗🤗 I absolutly love it
Like how you have certain sections closed off like the bathroom area.lt makes it more a home. 🏠 Not sure, but I'm thinking you get around the side of the bathroom wall to get to the bedroom wish also lends to much privacy. The much windows also lend to less claustrophobia. Beautiful home.
Beautiful job you folks did!
That abundant storage underneath would make it easy to keep all sorts of fin things like kayaks and ebikes handy!
Beautiful ❤
What a beautiful bus you have!! I love the colors and all the natural light that comes through those huge windows!! 💜
I love it! It's beautiful!!
I love it!!! So nice!!! Happy and Safe trails to you both!!!🎉
Bravo, great conversion
You know you've been watching a lot of van life content when seeing someone living in a bus seems excessive lol
Absolutely stunning
Your home is beautiful guys ⭐️⭐️
Awesome bus conversion thanks for sharing it
Awesome video! Great home. 👍🏼
Lovely build
Not saying you’re wrong, but if that is a former greyhound bus, it’s a rare one. I’ve been a driver for another bus company for 12 years and have never seen a Prevost greyhound. All have been MCI’s, which is Motor Coach Industries. I think greyhound might have a few X model Prevosts, and maybe a Vanhool or two. The H models like this one are about a foot taller than the X’s and MCI’s and seem to be used more as charter buses and not line schedule buses. Anyway, nice job on the remodel. I hope it has an Allison tranny and not the old Z style computer shifted manual.
Great tour 👍
Very nice conversion!
definitely a nice and comfortable home
You can buy a combo washer dryer so you don’t have to hang your clothes to dry. Love the light and open interior. Great job.
Very nice job they did on this. I really like it. Feels like home.
Beautiful build!
Hey, you guys sure have a very nice bus home ❤ Happy Traveling 👍👋
