Tiny Glade Demo Gameplay - No Commentary. Demo closed as of July 1st.
Shoutout to my fellow No Commentary-Enjoyers. Between the playtests and the early access to the demo, I had 77 hours of experience at the time of play. Thank you again to Tom and Ana for letting me try out the demo early.

When i see what people manage to come up with on that small demo area, imagine what will happen when the whole map is open for builds. 👍🤩

The demo circle definitely is what you make it! I've fit single buildings in it and felt like I didn't have space for anything else. I've also managed - and seen other people manage even better - to fit a pretty convincing little townscape into it. A lot of it also comes from the viewing angle, of course lol On the dev twitter you can occasionally see pictures that clearly used the whole map and it's stunning!
Nice Build! Im looking forward to this one for making buildings to show my players in D&D. Hopefully the game does well so the devs will ad even more parts and styles in the future

I'm actually amazed by how many people have voiced their intent to do that. Both during the playtests and on the dev Twitter. But it makes total sense, game makes it dead easy to put together a scenic location - whether it be a castle, an alley somewhere downtown or a townsquare.
So excited for this one! Watching all the different demo gameplays has convinced me that i 100% need this game. Gonna make some many cosy towns
**heavy breathing** I cannot have this game soon enough it looks so cute!
I just played the demo and I'm already obsessed. Although the demo space is very limited you can do so much with it already. I thought my building (a little neighborhood with towers and stuff) was done 5 times but I still found another blank space where I could put something although the options are also quite limited. No limits within the limits and so much cute detail work I will definetely buy that once its fully out
10 minutes and I'm already in love with this game... The sounds of the environment, the sounds of all actions are done elegantly and very soothing. Also, the plastic in this game is made wonderfully, all the details are interconnected and it’s as if they themselves understand what you want to do with them. I hope it's not gonna cost too much so more people could play it, but I have feeling that this game will become popular, deservedly.
I'm so excited for the full release.
I just know I’m going to spend an ungodly amount of time on this game
one of my favorite builds yet!
What a stunning build
Can't wait this game to come out!
Omg, I need this! First time Im hearing about this game, and now I cant wait for it to come out and to get my hands on it when it does 😍

Do try the demo while it's still public! Game's on Steam :D
I really love your design! :)
The best tool to help artists to make a good scenario!
I can't wait for this game to be out!
It'd be perfect to be able to export the castle after the game as a 3d model for 3d printing - with an options like: without the trees/vines/bushes, without the lamps (separate objects) and with max angle of overhang slopes ~50deg for better printability. I'd love to let kids design their own castles/landscapes and then print them out.

That is a wonderful idea, honestly! Turning a digital diorama into a physical one! Hm, knowing the devs, they might actually be open to the idea. :D
Amazing!
Beautiful! Now, can I move in?
wow... Thats actually really beatiful

Imagine a city-builder in this style!
this looks so cute, i could play around with this game for hours and hours
Imagine this level of building freedom as part of a larger game.
Perfect ❤
I really want to see how the inside look like. Hopefully we can see it one day

Huh. Keen eye. And here I thought I was hot shit for spotting the seam around the PNG in certain lighting conditions. Well done!
I remember watching the developer on tiktok in 2022
wow shaders and texture work is absolutly amazing o0
So its medieval ArchiCAD, i'm in!
Is Townscaper 2.0 :D Very nice!
If only I could throw it into a blender and use it to create a game. Can I talk to you about this or contact you?
🤩🤩
25 minutes in, game looks awesome. My only problem is the flowers, so many flowers, everywhere, lol.

It definitely gets wild with every building block putting down its own little potpourri of bushes and flowers! I do find myself taking the path brush in its smallest sizes and trying to just cover up a couple of bushes without making it too visible.

@@freakout3516 I should say I was referring to the window flowers. Like need more cowbell, this was need more window flowers, lol.

lmao that's also fair. The double window with flowerbox and shutters is my favourite! I am hoping for more variety in the long term. Not a particular fan of the clothelines but having it completely plain also sucks. I remember people asking for pies left on the window sill to be a window variety, I'd be down for that.
Do you only get to build within that tiny space, or is this just for the demo part? Would have been cool to make a village!

Aye, for the demo you're stuck in the circle. Back during the first couple of playtests the boundary was the "unwooded" area. For the full game the border is going to somewhere out in the trees. At around 4:36 you can see the "Full Game" border show up in the background for what it's worth.
that would be awesome for an dnd like game where game masters can quickly build 3d levels for the encounters
My Theme Game I Love This Game
It would be nice if we could build a hole vilage with tine citizens living their lives. No manegement, just build your tiny and cozy medieval city and apreciate 🤩
nice
Would love to be able to export and 3d print
Can you add water so you can make lakes, streams waterfalls, bridges etc

Current theory is that that's what the second locked icon in the toolbar will be for, yeah. How that's going to work nobody knows yet though. With any luck we should get a dev diary sometime late June, early July that will show us some water - seeing as the last one had some trees in it that were clearly placed using the first locked icon in the toolbar. There's a newsletter you can subscribe to if you wanted. Link is in the description. I will also make a video about it as soon as we know more!
Wow, what a nice game! Looks a bit like townscaper but nicer.
very cool. i want to make Dark Souls castles
wonder if there's a plan for apple silicon
I've whishlisted this game from the moment i saw it the first time. Totally fell in love with it. Got the demo last weekend and now love it even more. This game is pure soul food. It feels cozy and warm and fuzzy.
Будет возможность выгружать модели в obx?
Um... Is that a game or an editor? Looks fun but I don't quite catch the aims.

I'm gonna have to go with "Yes." It's a creative sandbox in a similar vein to Townscaper. Townscaper advertises itself on its Steam page as "More of a toy than a game." precisely because there's no goal, no real gameplay. Whatever you consider playing Minecraft in Creative mode. This is that sort of experience, I'd argue. You build for the joy of building.
the sfx need to chill or else i would play without sound. 9/10
baguss bangett
looks intresting, but need more gameplay features.
Nice work ☺️👌 by the way how you build… u must be European 😅

@@pinguinsudpol5120 English might not be this person's first language. Maybe they meant "When is it coming out?" In which case the answer is May 30th.

Мне очень нравится стилистика игры, будто в акварельных зарисовках^^

I like that it toes the line between realism and art so that you can both build whimsical cartoony structures which look great, as well as replicate real buildings and they look just as plausible!
Needs pr so people can wishlist it creator can make millions on this
where is the demo ?

It's going to be out today, May 30th, at 7pm Central European Summer Time. Whatever that converts to in your timezone. Edit: And you should be able to find it on Steam!

I think cozy building/diorama with pretty graphics is a growing genre, yes. But this is a pretty unique take on it! Most I've seen are grid based and not nearly as nice.
Looks like better animal crossing lol
Looklike The sims Building Mode.
Is this the sims medieval,?
Looks nice.. but it's static gameplay without actions.. it's boring. Sry.
