Nope, definitely not the only one.

I really like my little DeWalt saw. The oil fill cap needs a good o-ring to alleviate the leakage. Their pole saw has been great too!

Me too. Mine Leaked When I Got it, but before I got around to fixing it, it stopped leaking. If it leaks again, do you remember what o-ring you used? I've looked into their pole saw, glad to know its good.

Handyman Hertz I figured you would get a kick out of this. Last summer we had a wind storm and I lost 10 inch branches from my cherry apple tree. Fortunately the branches landed on my fence and didn’t damage my Nextdoor neighbors property. There gas chainsaw wouldn’t start . I live in the Heart of Black and Decker/ DEWALT country and nobody had any chainsaws except for the Harbor Freight unit. I pulled out my old trusted Black and Decker 18 volt Chainsaw. I ordered a Dewalt Battery adapter, a 14 inch Bar and a 14 inch Oregon Chain. Amazon delivered everything the following morning. I reassembled my Frankenstein Chainsaw and went to work. I have 3 5AH DEWALT batteries and made short work of the branches. I’m a retired so I have some time on my hands. My attitude was when I drain 2 batteries, it’s time to take a break. I still want a DEWALT 20V chainsaw . I just forgot to order one since my Frankenstein chainsaw is working so well 😅😅

That is a really cool story, I like that! Thanks for sharing, I can just picture that setup. Speaking of gas chainsaws not starting, that's exactly why I like this. No more gas and carburetors to think about. 👍🏼

I’ve got this saw and carry it in my F350 utility bed when in RV trips and in my Jeep Wrangler when going into the woods. Tree across the road? Not for long.

Yeah, its a good little saw! not a professional grade, but perfect for Homeowners and the rest of us DIY'ers!

That little saw is amazing! I might have to invest in the 60 V if you ever get enough likes to try that one out. Great job both of you!

@HandymanHertz I like mine. I use it for a little construction around the house, but mostly keep it in the kubota sidekick to clear fallen trees on the trails. With that 5amp battery it last a long time.

Thats a cute saw. Gas saw much better tho. Do u have a gas saw? Maybe do a Video on that one & when to use proper tool for the job. Thx.

Thanks for the idea. i do actually have a stihl 192 TC top handle 12 inch one. I've been thinking about comparing them Maybe cut 4x4's, various branch size, trees, etc. what else would you like to see?

Hey man, just some advice when sharpening a chainsaw: those files are meant to go only in one direction, not to be pushed and pulled through the cutter. Doing that really harms the cutter and shortens the life of your file. You should only push the file through the cutting (forward) direction and not drag it back through. I do enjoy the nature of the video and it's a pretty fine showcase of the saw! If you did it just for the fun of it, then keep it up but I may also suggest getting a better (larger) tool for a job of that size too lol
