Tiny Cabin Build: Creating a Hidden Games & Puzzle Ceiling in my TINY HOUSE | Ep. 5

I'm getting nearer to finishing building my first tiny home. And there aren't many good little homes without games, or without nifty storage solutions! So I have created what might be the worlds first "Games ceiling".
Welcome to the channel of a recently unemployed boat dwelling filmmaker. Follow my adventures & subscribe.

I go a little stir crazy without a project, so I thought I would document my idiotic challenges, buildings, and musings. Thankfully, life on the water, in a Dutch Barge that is half-built, throws all kinds of weird and wonderful things at me.

I think one of the hidden things should be a journal for the future guests to leave their thoughts about their stay. Also perhaps a coloring book and pencils, you could have a few dedicated frames, and trade out the art each time someone finishes a picture :)

That's exactly what I was thinking! I wondered if there's actually enough room to DO puzzles since the table is pretty small. If the puzzles didn't work out, there's all sorts of stuff that could be tucked away in the ceiling by the kitchen.

I would have to make the pull downs so they could hold more than one game each and could be changed out - in other words - frame each section completely and maybe put magnets on each game and on the top of the section so they don't fall out. Love the idea of using the ceiling for storage - may need to do that in my house.

GREAT idea & job. Are you going to put some kind of letter about the games in the ceiling for your Air-b-n-b renters, if your going to rent it out to others? In my tiny that's what I'm going to do in the kitchen for spices & like storage bags. I've seen it in other videos. I just think it's a great space saver idea. Well done job dear. Keep up the great work. Be safe, Chris from Missouri
