    I can't make this, but would have loved too. I thought the price, considering what's included, is not outrageous and will be of huge benefit to those who attend. Would be really interested if you considered a UK retreat too. Maybe a long weekend in the Winter somewhere cosy. Love the positivity that comes from you and your resources. You are a lifeline and comfort to so many people. x

    I love your work, bro. My tinnitus is non-existent for the most part. Once in awhile I have a spike, but most of the time I don't hear it. So thank you for getting me to that point. My girlfriend has musical tinnitus. It's not bothering her right now, but if it's ever becomes a problem for her, I can help her get through it, or refer her to your resources. So thank you for changing people's lives.

    Julian, I don’t know where I’d be if I hadn’t found you. Without knowing it, you nursed me back to health. I was desperate, broken and hurting. Your advice, knowledge, understanding and gentle approach was medicine. I am so much better and I only become aware of T when I’m not 100%. I now allow it to be and welcome it as an old friend to work with me as a well-being monitor. It is completely possible to get better. Thank you will never be enough. Enjoy this fantastic trip and I hope this is the start of more. Keep up this amazing work. The world needs you. Rebecca

    Participating in this retreat is not a prerequisite for success in mitigating tinnitus. I have followed Julian’s advices when I first contacted him in late 2016 when my tinnitus began. Since then, the lessons learned from this journey, initiated by his guidance, has brought significant positive changes for the better. It has been a hard go at times, but having great patience with myself, flexibility in finding new coping strategies and the unquestioned belief that things will get better are crucial for the basis to get better. The tinnitus has gone away, come back for awhile, gone away again, been very distant, … but it has not gotten worse and is no longer a tyrant or even a smelly tramp that lives downstairs. In fact, I am more productive and can take on more stressful situations now than I could before the initial onset in 2016. So don’t lose hope, don’t despair. Believe!! The bad days gradually became bad hours, and then became bad moments, and these moments become farther and fewer in frequency. This is progress to me and I hope the best for all of us.

    The short answer is craniosacral therapy, understanding how hearing changes when we are anxious or afraid, getting rid of my anxiety about tinnitus, and eating a healthy diet. You can read the long answer in my book: The Long Tide to Silence which is my own story and my quest to find peace, and how I got there. You can find it on Amazon. www.amazon.co.uk/Long-Tide-Silence-Julian-Cowan/dp/1718949936/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=julian+cowan+hill&qid=1690023621&sr=8-3 You can learn how to do this on my app www.quietenapp.com Hope this helps you. We will record the teaching parts of the sessions and will post those after the retreat. A lot of the retreat will be doing a lot of personal sharing together and practice and that won't be recorded due to its personal nature. Thank you for your interest. Hope to see you at a future retreat. Best wishes, Julian

    I am afraid not. We will come together as a circle and everything on the retreat will be confidential as it is of a personal nature. But I am sure positive things will come out of the retreat and I will share things we learn if I think it can be of benefit to others.

    We think so. In the video I mention that it will cost £2000 for full-board and teaching, plus airport transfers. You would need to buy a plane ticket on top of this. If you are interested please send an email to info@juliancowanhill.co.uk There is quite a lot of interest already. Best wishes Julian

    I think these retreats are great, but I do think more needs to be said about things in the body that can cause tinnitus I. E mold, fungus, parasites etc.

    Sounds like a great idea. Why don't you make a blog about this. Mould and candida definitely play a part in tinnitus. When I cleared Candida from my system my tinnitus went from a chronic 1-2 out of 10 to 0. Best wishes Julian

    @@JulianCowanHill I'm currently trying saline nasal sprays to help clear my eustachian tubes and sinuses. Do you think these are strong enough to remove mold or fungus etc? Thanks

  • @JulianCowanHill

    @JulianCowanHill

    11 ай бұрын

    I doubt it. Normally a change of diet and certain ingredients and medications can help remove mould etc. It takes time. Best to buy a book on it and to follow the guidance properly. I have started sucking on pieces of ginger and, ever since, I have not had any colds or coughs. Ginger is highly anti-fungal and anti-bacterial and anti-viral, and is safe. Suck on a piece gently, regularly and you will find it clears the tubes and opens up the respiratory system. This has helped clear the candida in my head.

    @@JulianCowanHill thanks for that, I heard someone else say recently actually that they too suck on a piece of ginger and it clears their sinuses. I drink lemon and ginger tea but I suppose the raw ginger would be more potent.
